Reviews often praise knowledgeable and patient sales consultations, with several customers noting clear product explanations and helpful pricing discussions. Critical feedback centers on scheduling delays, communication gaps during longer projects, and punch-list items that required follow-up. Some reviewers report workmanship concerns on exterior projects and long waits between removal and installation. Overall ratings reflect a mix of strong consultative experiences and uneven timelines or service coordination.
I had a quote review today with Tyanna today and I was really impressed with her. She is very knowledgeable about Champion's products and good at speaking with people. She came prepared with a binder relaying industry prices for what I was specifically looking for and about potential savings and financing. Pricing is reasonable, especially for the quality of window.
NEGATIVE 4 STARS. I would never recommend them and I’m telling everyone not to use them. Ordered siding in May. They “finished” yesterday but still need to come back to fix some things. Materials sat in my driveway for over two months. Terrible customer service and communication. The siding looks great if you don’t look too close. Warped material, bowing out under window, caulking looks bad and the new siding doesn’t even go all the way to end of the wall. The installer was nice enough to move the leftover material for me but did not even clean up after the job. I could write pages of issues on this job. OH! I made three payments on the loan BEFORE it was even installed. Just so disappointed in the company. I expected professional service and did not receive it.
We had a very positive experience with Isaac. He answered our questions and wasn't a high-pressure type sales person. He demonstrated the various glass on the market and was patient with us while we figured out what we wanted to do.Update 8/2025 - we discovered that they didn't finish painting the strips they added on each side of an exterior window. Went through their process and the tech who came out said they didn't do painting. When he told the manager, it was decided it didn't fall under their warranty. Probably true - In my opinion it was a minor installation issue. However, I don't have a ladder high enough to reach, have a vestibular disorder and osteoporosis, and feel that the high cost of their windows they could take a minute to paint the two strips. I recommend you check to make sure what is included in their install, as it didn't even occur to us that they didn't paint. Therefore, I'm taking away two stars.
Tyanna was very friendly and sympathetic towards my window replacement project. I had lost four windows that were broken by vandals. She assured me that she would do her best to help me find an affordable, Champion replacement plan that would fit my budget. Tyanna did just that! She was very patient, thorough, and knowledgeable of the product. She welcomed my questions and explained everything to my satisfaction. I am very pleased with the product I am getting, the price, and the transferable life-time warranty. Thank you, Tyanna!
The dates referenced in this review span from 2023-2024.UPDATE: it’s January 16th and we are still without a window. Added a picture with the snow during our sub-zero temperatures this week. Champion Windows removed a window 4 months ago and still has not replaced. Hands down the worst company I have ever done business with. This is the only review of Champion Windows & Home Exteriors you should ever need.On September 25 Champion removed our upstairs window and replaced it with what you see below. It took them 18 days to reorder the window once they knew it didn’t fit. I received a call on December 4 telling me the order was never submitted to be built and will take an additional, minimum 4 weeks. That will put us at 3 months with a plywood window. Since September 25, I have spoken with their customer service, local installation manager, Director of National Ops Support and the CEO of Great Day Improvements, the parent company or Champion Windows. Throughout the entire process not one person wants to take responsibility, apologize or offer any assurance of when the job will be completed. At this point we have paid 90% of the cost of the project (2 other windows were installed) and am just stuck without recourse. All I can do at this point is provide this information to others and suggest you avoid Champion Windows at all costs.EDIT: Champion has replied below but this is not a serious response. I have spoken with everyone at Champion and they are not concerned with getting this fixed. They are only concerned with it looking like they are working on it. Customer service and accountability has been non-existent with them and everyone from the CEO down has my contact information. If they want to reach out to me they can.
