The technician was nice enough (Lance) but was late. Granted my 2-5 window didn’t really work for me because I couldn’t be there until 3:30 but he finally showed up at 5:18pm.He fixed what needed to be fixed so the door could operate as it should. He was friendly and knowledgeable as well. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was that one of my cables needs replaced. He wasn’t driving his regular truck and didn’t have any cable to replace it but quoted me $10 a foot for replacement and said he had to do both cables for reasons that made sense. I looked up the cost of full spool of contractor grade premium cable and it’s less than $2.50 a foot! They want to charge me 4X the price???? Highway robbery. At least he gave $10 off the service call for being so late (service is minimum $160.00). Needless to say, I won’t be contacting this company ever again with so many others in the area. They had good reviews but I don’t have time to wait around and definitely don’t have money to waste on huge markups.
Justin was amazing! He assessed the situation going on with my garage door and determined the board had gone bad. He was so helpful, patient and kind answering all of my questions. He was also honest about what he would do if this were his garage, which I really appreciated. I felt that the pricing was reasonable for both the new board and also a new door. I had asked about pricing on garage doors for the future; an insulated garage door is something I’m planning for down the road. He came back 2 days later to install the new board. The communication throughout this whole process was excellent. Everything works perfectly now and I’m very happy!When I called to make the original appointment, the gentleman who took my call was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I highly recommend Cincinnati Door & Window!
Our installer was Jerome. He was very professional and answered all of my questions and concerns. He did a great job of installing the door and very accurate with cutting the trim and cleaning up. The finished job is great.
I called Cincinnati door & opener around 140 pm today after one of my garage door springs broke. They were able to send TJ here by 330pm. TJ quickly got our garage door working again (by 405pm) replacing both springs. He also saved us money by reusing the cables that went off track but were not damaged. All in all, a good experience.
Adam was great and our new garage door looks absolutely AMAZING!! He did a really through job explaining the different units and their features. Such an easy process, thanks!!It’s so nice to have installers that really care about the job they do and that they enjoy it.
