I can’t speak high enough about Action Windows and the team there. I had multiple quotes last year and decided to go with them. I ordered two Windows and was so happy by the end of the summer we had ordered nine in total. They use a variety of different windows. We chose Okna and After one year can truly say we are extremely happy. Highly recommend.

I did my homework. Researched online. Went to showrooms. Had various salespeople give presentations in my home. I was clear about what mattered most to me. Price was important, and quality and reputation even more so. My conclusion: The Okna brand windows were my top choice for quality, workmanship, design and competitive price; and Action Windows and Siding of West Hartford was the company I wanted to do business with. Straightforward and honest presentations by both Lenny (manager) and Greg (salesperson). I decided to include replacement of front and back doors in the project, and Greg assisted me in choosing from their excellent selection of quality products. My choice was later confirmed by excellent installation in every room in my house, and by stellar customer service, including completion of paperwork required to receive my energy rebate due to Okna's Energy Star rating.

Today Lenny sent an installer to change the front storm door handle, which was the wrong color. It was a tiny detail, but it was important to me. Another company might have ignored my request, but not Action Windows, a company of integrity and superlative customer service!

Update #2:

For transparency, the office had the installer call me to see what he could do. He offered to come back and clean, but we had already cleaned everything we could. Afterwards, I updated my Google review and the office called me. I explained again that we had already cleaned up everything we could and in their frustration voiced their displeasure over my updated review and hung up on me.

If you're going to handle customer complaints and criticism this way, then I wouldn't bother calling at all.

Updated 4/4/2025:

I re-hired Action Windows & Siding to replace 19 windows in my new home, and this time, my experience was not as pleasant. The installation of the windows was great. Everything looks well installed, and the guys worked hard to get the old windows out and put in the new Okna triple-pane windows. My biggest issue was clean up and general home etiquette.

The guys had a shop vac, but there was still quite a bit of debris left on the floors, as well as metal pieces from removing the old windows. I have a young child in our house, which is pretty dangerous. We also had our roof recently redone, and the workers didn't blow any debris from their work off the roof. The 2nd installation day was rainy and muddy, so I expected the house to be a bit of a mess. In my daughter's playroom, we had a new rug that we couldn't fully roll up, and the guys had been stepping all over it. I wish they had just paid a little more attention to detail when they worked. They also threw out the brackets for the curtain rods we were using.

Lastly, and this is just a pet peeve of mine, they constantly left the doors of my house open. It's not exactly warm out yet, and I understand it can be annoying to continually open and close a door. However, after the sixth time I closed the door, I would have hoped someone got the hint that I didn't want to leave the door open for extended periods.

Based on my latest experience, I would have to think twice before recommending this company.

These guys are great. The sales manager is a nice guy and is very honest. The workers are fast and clean up after themselves. We had about 18 windows redone in our house (did them in 2 different installments). Both times they were done top notch. Will more than likely use them for our future siding needs in the future. Keep up the great work guys!

Awesome experience. We had whole house OKNA windows and a patio door installation. The quality of the windows is very high and they look great. The delivery was on time as promised. The owner of the company is very responsive and easy to work with. Leonid was doing our installation and he did an amazing job. I am a very picky customer and I am happy with his work. He worked long days regardless the weather, addressed all our requests and respected the property. Highly recommended ??
