My cousin recommended me Wright's Windows & Doors, and I'm so glad she did. Wright's is fantastic! I had to replace 9, 40 year old windows, 2 doors and a slider. The process was so easy, I can't believe it as I was stressed and worried. The team was fantastic, they took the time to listen, came to measure multiple times to ensure everything was correct (I had some strange measurements). They walked me thru step by step, answered my zillion questions and concerns, met me at the showroom, so nice, so professional and very trustworthy. Install day arrived, my large house in Hollywood, they came at 8AM and finished by 4PM with their army of 7 guys. Minimal dust and they did their best to not make a mess with lots of plastic. I'm so impressed and everyone couldn't have been nicer and efficient. Absolutely choose Wrights for windows and doors. My house looks new, my front door is just beautiful! The only downside is that is takes a long time to order as it's so detailed (plus dealing with my HOA approvals), but it's worth it! Tip: Order during the July summer sale as I saved $5K. Special shout outs to Diego my Sales Rep, Medna during the install and Robert the install manager too. Sam in the office was great for my little questions as well as Shevon in accounting. Thank you so much and even did follow ups post install to ensure I'm happy and everything was good - it was! Hurricane party at my house! (but hopefully not :). Go with Wrights - you won't regret it!-Liz
I had a good experience with Wright's for a full house window and door replacement job. I bid out three companies and Wright's was the cheapest - without knowing the other bids. Jay the sales guy (and part owner?) was slightly pushy, but I am in sales and I'm used to the tactic. Our project manager Desi was great and super easy to work with. He notified me about some framing damage that we had replaced (by a separate contractor). He made sure we had plenty of time to fix this before finaling the windows. That was very nice of him to do that and not rush us.A general word of caution about the job: getting your windows replaced is a seriously invasive experience; there absolutely will be dust everywhere and no amount of covering your personal property will protect it. If you don't want dust on your personal items, you will need to move them out of the house and into storage. I had friends advise me on this, and I just figured 'how bad can it be?' Trust me it was worse than I had imagined! This is not Wright's fault, it will happen regardless of contractor.
My experience with Wright's was by far opposite of what I'm reading from others experiences. I only needed one exterior door - not my entire home or multiple windows. We chose a slider - Jay was out the day after I called, quick, straight to the point, gave me a quote which was the best out of 3 other reputable companies. Once I gave the go ahead, office handled permitting - done in 2 weeks. As soon as the permit passed the measuring rep was out within 2 days and the timer started on fabrication. I was notified late September that my slider was being made and by the second week of November - I got the call to install. Des dropped by the day before to assess and Adan was at my house at 8am ready to go. He worked solo and my brand new slider was fully installed by 3pm. He was beyond respectful, asked multiple times if everything looked good, showed me all of the door functions and even patched up trim work around the door that he probably didn't need to, but went above and beyond for this very satisfied customer. Des followed up the next morning with me and final inspection was scheduled. Excellent job to all of you!!!! Couldn't be more satisfied with Wrights and will highly recommend!
I DON'T recommend this company.Wright is the Wrong company1. After waiting from Feb to get 3 second story windows installed in May, one of the panes was cracked, and an end piece missing.2. New pane was installed in Sep't, end piece was wrong size.3.Inspector said "can't pass it as window in less than 24 inches off floor and no child lock is installed. 4. Lock and piece scheduled for mid Nov but we are snow birds, so I asked for Nov 20th. Worker came with several end pieces and found the correct one, installed a plastic channel (easy to remove if needed) in upper windows to prevent an opening of more than 4 inches. Mgr came out to take photos of channel but photos wouldn't sent to inspector, to save him a trip. Finally, inspector came and said not the locks that should be there but will pass it.Mgr came back and I unfortunately signed off.5. When putting up Christmas lights, I noticed the old shutter screws were not removed, just sawed off with rust running down, the holes were not patched either...yup I should checked , but at 72 yrs, my ladder days are not my strong point.6. When putting the curtains and black out draped back up we saw the 108 inch rod was sat on and bend all to H3**,7. Two of the window sills were damages with spray foam residue, black Chaulk and chipped front edge.I still owed 10% and let them know I'm not paying , they threaten with a lien and sent a copy. I read the 4th page of contract stating they are not liable for damage on this, this, this, this and that. Basically covered any and all possible screw ups. We wound up paying. In regards to your response. Whom should I call and at what number? Either post here or call me at my listed number in your files.
