Our experience with Consumer Direct was great from start to finish. All our questions were completely answered by Jerry on his home visit to us. Alistair in the showroom was very patient with us explaining the difference in material and showing the different colors. His knowledge and experience are a great asset to this company.
We are enjoying the wider door which we had our mind set on. The style and color is exactly what we were looking for.

Install also went well with both the installers that came. From start to finish it took aprox 3 hours to have the job completed. They were very professional and patiently answered all our questions as the work was being completed. They cleaned up their mess after the job was completed.

The showroom had a lot of door samples to review along with styles and colours. Steve Morgan is very knowledgeable and guides you on making the right choice for your home. The 2 installers were professional and friendly. The made sure all garbage was taken away and the area clean. Steve then came by to make sure we were happy with our new door. I would highly recommend this company if looking to replace your doors and windows. Excellent product and service.

What do I know about windows?
That was a question I had before meeting with Andrew from Consumers Direct windows and doors. Andrew was very knowledgeable and informative about the windows and doors. He explained in detail about how their products were made. I really liked the fact that they manufacture their own windows and doors. No middleman price hikes and they have control over the manufacturing process. He even brought along a cut away sample of a triple pane window. After all of my questions were answered in detail we did window measurements and a full quote was presented to me as we sat at my dining room table. There was no pressure to buy or leave a deposit as I needed a few more quotes. Andrew left me with a welcome kit full of informative window and door information that I referred to quite often during my decision making. After all quotes were in Consumers Direct came in $6000 under the competition. With the money we saved we decided to have our front entrance way replaced. Andrew and I set it all up through email. Andrew was very prompt with his responses to the many emails I had sent him.
The quotes were sent within a day of our final decision on what we had discussed. They were extremely detailed and the cost breakdown was to the penny.
A few short weeks later I was contacted and a date was set up for final measurements of the windows, door and entrance way. The gentleman who did the final measurements was a former window installer and pointed out some problems their company could face because my current windows were installed improperly. He made a phone call and spoke to the installation team and a note was made before my installation. There were no issues with the new window installation regardless of how the old windows were installed.
Brandon, Dale and Shawn did the installation. They arrived early and quickly got to work setting up tarps and blankets on all my floors and stairs to protect my house during installation. On the first day the had all 7 windows replaced with all the trim and flashings in place within a 6-7 hour span. At the end of the installation they cleaned up, swept up and vacuumed. You wouldn’t even know anyone was in working that day. Next day they returned and did my front door and entrance way. They even installed a new door handle I had purchased. They worked as a very professional, knowledgeable and considerate team.
Overall my experience with everyone at Consumers Direct windows and doors was a smooth and pleasant experience. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Give them a call. You won’t regret it.

It goes without saying that in owning our home for 34yrs., that Consumer Direct Windows and Doors has been our best ever choice for any renovation we have done.
From our initial walk into the showroom in Whitby, to when the installers of our 19 windows and 1 entrance system left our property, it really has been an amazing experience ! Professionalism, attention to detail, I just can’t say enough .
The front office staff are amazing, David in sales is amazing, the installers are amazing, …… probably the best in the business !

We received 5 quotes and Consumer Direct had the top quality at the most reasonable price. David was great to deal with and went above and beyond in providing details and accommodating our requests. we had 15 windows and patio french doors installed last week and are very happy with the quality, not to mention that they look fantastic! ?? We were looking forward to having the new windows installed, especially the custom made kitchen window and the french doors, but we were dreading about the installation - Andre and his installation team were great, on time, respectful of our property, knowledgeable, attentive to details - thank you for making this a good experience!

CDW would be the obvious choice for any window and door replacement project, highly recommended!
