We had to catch Chris, our sales person, at his car to get our window order started. Talk about low pressure!
Our late 60's ranch style home had a plethora of single hung, over trimmed, single pane with full storms screwed in, light stingy windows. I was concerned that replacements would go INSIDE these tiny jokes and we would be cursed to a life of darkness. Somewhere between the design and installation, some wizard found EXTRA DIMENSIONS.
PLUS sunlight does not have to squeeze through screens because.... Pella screens only scroll out when you open Pella windows!
"But what does all this magic cost?" I shopped the heck out of this job, hurt some feelings too - but our quote and financing was comparable or better than what I found elsewhere.
The installers where impeccable! They were here 4 days and never left a single mess, pop, drop, dust, or smudge. It was a master class in "clean as you go", and they took all the trash and dust and old windows and packing with them. The Pella team left me only 17 perfect, gleaming windows with bright fresh trim. Now the house needs to be painted, the landscape looks terrible, our concrete does not deserve to be here....

Picked out the patio sliding door that had upper controls to operate the blinds. They installed a different operating control which does not meet my expectations. I have complained to repairmen, salesmen, front desk employees and repairmen. Not one person has taken any action to even talk to me. Everyone claims to pass on my complaints but I see no evidence that has been done. Pella also keeps sending me a final bill when the project is not even completed. Very disappointed in Pella and so far would not recommend them at all. This project stated in April and is not even completely finished and it is now August.

We had high expectations for Pella and the company did NOT disappoint! Todd Malcolm talked to me for an hour at the new showroom on the weekend while my 8 and 5 year-old boys independently tested and verified every product on the showroom floor. We were looking to finally replace our 1975 patio door that was original to our home. He made the process seamless and hassle-free.
Our door opening was independently measured twice for accuracy, Alicia reached out and scheduled the installation. Scott and Alec installed the new door, and interior trim, in about 2 hours and now we have an awesome, weather-tight patio door that my 5 year-old can operate without assistance.
It sounds like an easy process because it absolutely was! Pella obviously treats and trains their staff correctly because customer service is exceptional from everyone on their team!
If you're in the market for windows or doors this company is at the very top of our list!

We recently completed phases 1 and 2 of our window replacement project with Pella of Wichita. So far, we've replaced 19 Andersen single-pane windows and a sliding glass door from 1959 with Pella Lifestyle and Pella Reserve Contemporary windows and a sliding glass door in a black-stain finish. Since it was such a big project for us, we shopped around, read all the reviews, watched all the YouTube videos, and got quotes. After several months of research, our decision to go with Pella was solidified after visiting their showroom. It's one thing to view images of windows online, it's another to touch them, see how they operate, and examine the fit and finish of an actual product. We made an appointment to have a salesperson out for a quote.

Todd Malcolm was friendly, helpful, honest, respectful, and straightforward. We didn't feel pressured to make a decision right then and there, or even within a specific time frame. He made the quote process easy, helped us understand what we were getting, and walked us through the whole job process. He even helped us realize our large window’s full potential by suggesting several window configurations and helped explain the pros and cons of each option.

Although the installation was performed by contractors, Scott and his crew may as well be full-time employees. They handled the worksite respectfully, were very polite, answered our questions, kept everything clean and orderly, and did a great job with our extensive project. We felt confident knowing they’ve been professionally installing windows for many years. They made quick work of the job, but weren’t rushing or cutting corners to get to the next site.

Customer service was handled by Diane Niedens. She was very accommodating to our schedules, made sure all of our concerns were answered, and checked up on all aspects along the way.

With any large and complicated house project, a few minor issues are to be expected along the way. Chris McGinn and his team listened to the minor snags we had, and provided prompt solutions. The minor issues we had were taken care of without a problem.

Overall, the windows and sliding glass door are awesome and make hanging out at home a lot more enjoyable. They look fantastic, operate smoothly, cut down on outdoor noise, and are helping us save money on energy costs. Our friends and family really like the look of them as well. We’re very satisfied with the product and service, and we recommend Pella.

Chris the sales rep and Christ the lead installer were wonderful. The sliding door has brought so much more life to our home and the process was entirely pain free. Easy communication and Pella was able to do the project earlier than any other company.
