We worked with Tom Long on the remodel of our house. We’ve lived there for 20 years and we needed new windows in the worst way! He made it not only easy but attainable with the options and the very affordable quote that we received. We’ve had no problems along the way and everything went smoothly. Our house is absolutely beautiful now! We have recently built a detached garage and worked with his brother Bob Long. Everything has gone smoothly an the garage looks beautiful. We are so thankful for the team at Pella and everything they’ve done to help us along this journey! It’s nice to come home to what feels like a new house. We highly recommend working with Pella for any of your window needs!
The consultant did a great job sharing his design and technical expertise in an organized and thorough manner. He was very patient answering my questions completely. At no time did I feel like I was being “sold”. His focus on my goals was greatly appreciated. The encounter was enjoyable, educational and helped me arrive at a confident decision.
Tom Long did an excellent job advising us in the purchasing process for Pella Windows. This was a replacement job of builder windows which while still under warranty had lost their seal and needed to be replaced. Can’t wait for the new windows!
We had our entire home redone with Pella Windows and they are amazing, we immediately are seeing a huge difference in our home staying cooler and the outside noise level is now really low. I had a great experience with Tom Long on the consultation, product selection and measurement process. He was very thorough in ensuring that the right products would be made just for this house. The installation team was great, they were very attentive to every detail and left things clean after the work. Great job, Pella team!
UPDATE: Water rains through our front door after 1.5 years and now being blamed on the overhang of the door is in violation of the warranty. These guys are pure poo poo. Take your money and spend it elsewhere. Not door professionals at all.MORE LIKE SCAM ARTISTPella keeps deleting my review because they know I can prove everything in text or emails. One more bit of proof you should look elsewhere!I had an extremely frustrating experience with Pella over the course of two years while trying to install two doors in my house. The company's leadership, exemplified by Chad, seemed lacking and in need of improvement. Despite initially hearing back from Chad and discussing the situation, he failed to return my subsequent calls within a reasonable timeframe. Eventually, after leaving a final message threatening legal action, Mike, the Director of Installations, finally responded. This lack of responsiveness and poor leadership demonstrated the issues within Pella's management. From the beginning, I had a positive experience with Tom Long, a sales representative from Pella. He was the only reason I didn't involve an attorney, as he consistently returned my calls and made efforts to resolve the issues. We agreed on the specifications, colors, and cost of the doors, despite the challenge posed by the half-circle feature above the door. However, complications arose when the front door's opening width was too small for the prefabricated doors. Tom's manager approved a custom mahogany door, but this marked the beginning of a nightmare.Production delays, broken items, missing parts, and poor craftsmanship plagued the process. On the day of installation, the crew arrived without the interior trim, and I discovered that one of the workers had stolen a bottle of tequila from my freezer. Despite these initial issues, the real problems emerged with the stain on the door, resulting in a multi-colored appearance on the back side. Pella was uncooperative and rejected my claim. The glass/screen door also swelled, causing operational difficulties, but Pella blamed us for trapping heat.Over the next 20 months, multiple individuals were involved in attempts to resolve the issues. Eventually, the door manufacturer agreed to warranty the door, but it took over a year to reach this obvious decision. Throughout this ordeal, we had to live with a subpar door and no trim in our house. Finally, the new doors arrived with a competent installation crew. However, the problems persisted, with the back door still creeping and the front door swelling. I was compelled to sign off on the installation, falsely indicating that the issues were resolved, which was frustrating considering the lack of product support.Based on my experience, I would rate Pella with zero stars. However, if you do choose to use Pella, I highly recommend requesting Tom Long as your sales representative, as he was the only professional and reliable individual throughout the entire process.Pics: White caulk on a dark brick and door. Never came back the next day to fix the lower part of the door, no trim on the inside for over 1.5 years. Dont choose Pella.
