Pristine did a large protect for us this spring. It involved two patios and two sidewalks.What they did well:4/5 polite and friendly4/5 arrived early in the morning and worked efficientlyWhat wasn’t done well:2/5 concrete was poured on weds morning and relief cuts or control joints (whatever they’re called (very shallow) were cut on Friday afternoon. Concrete was already cracking in two places the day after the pour. It has since began splintering into little islands of concrete along these cracks.2/5 for customer service. When this was brought up to them they said that cracks are (“to be expected, this is the nature of the product”). They offered no suggestions to fix it. This is a large sidewalk and it has no control joints between the sidewalk and patio and will likely crack and slump more in the future. The concrete that touches the foundation is starting to Crack because their control joints were cut after and don’t go to the wall it’s just making its own crack.1/5 planning, there is a 2 inch step down from the sidewalk to one of the patios that is a hazard.
