Here was my experience with Smith Concrete. I was planning to pour a driveway which required approx. 20 yards. I wanted to pour half on two consecutive days. I called on Wednesday 9/25/19 to inquire about getting the first on that Friday. They said that they were booked for Friday but could do 9:00 am on Monday and Tuesday 9/30 and 10/1. They stated that they had me on the schedule for these two days. One of their employees was at my house on Friday afternoon to do a site assessment. He suggested that I call the office Friday evening to confirm my schedule for Monday and Tuesday. When I called at 4 pm Friday I was told that I was NOT on the schedule for Monday or Tuesday. I was very displeased with their not actually having me on the schedule. But needing the concrete, I asked when was the next available time I could get on the schedule was told 11:00 am Wednesday and 8:00 am Thursday 10/2&3. I told them to schedule me for these days. I called today 10/2/19 to make sure everything was a go for Wednesday and, after being put on a brief hold, was told I was not on the schedule for Wednesday or Thursday. I went to another concrete supplier (at 30/yard cheaper) and would not consider doing business with Smith Concrete in the future.
