Got a small 5 yard pour behind my house. When i call and asked a million question and then called back to scheduled delivery the two ladies were so patient with me asking questions. The day before the deliver they called to verify my order and delivery. The morning of delivery a wonderful young 21 year old driver and I went over options to approach the worksite safely and not get stuck. He was great to work with and got along with my contractors as they had to wheel the first half the job. I will use them again and tell everyone I know
I've been a regular customer of Esterly Concrete for over 15 years. They have gone above and beyond for me many times not only with their service, but also with accommodation when scheduling projects. They are also innovative with expanding their services to now also offer Ready-Mix concrete along with their Site-Mix/Volumetric service. They are the only concrete company I use in Berks County as a full time concrete contractor. 100% recommend!
This company really took out the guess work of how much concrete I need! The truck that came to deliver the concrete for us, measured it and mixed it and poured on the spot. Absolutely no waste. The driver was great and easy to work with. Will definitely be using them again in the future!
So before I start, the drivers were amazing. They helped me get my concrete down, and I feel that was very sweet of them. That was not my issue, my issue is with the women answering the phone. The woman told me that I needed 2 trucks, I told her there was only going to be 2 of us pouring my footers. She assured me that my second truck could come about an hour later, that was fine. The day comes both trucks arrive at the same time basically. This ended up working out. Also, the woman told me they have 2500psi concrete and the driver said they only go as low as 3000 psi. Clearly the women working in the office have no idea what they are doing. Concrete was poured and when finished i couldn't get ahold of my contractor so I could pay the guys so they could leave. So I called the office hoping we could come to a solution because I didn't want to hold them up. My contractor was on the road and couldn't answer his phone. I told her I was trying him back to back. I also explained I was really embarrassed and really sorry about the inconvenience by this and had tried to setup payment before they came out, so we could avoid this type of hiccup. I was told they cant take a payment before which is understandable but they could have at least put the payment on file. The older woman was extremely rude. Even though it was not my fault , I was trying my best to figure out a solution. She offered nothing, and continued to be rude. Even calling me and telling me they instructed the driver to call the cops. Of course he didnt because he knew i wasnt trying not to pay. I wish they had better office personnel because they have some great kind drivers, but because of the older woman's actions I will never use them ever again.
Used them 1 time and gave them a 5 star review. The next time I used them I called them at 11:00 am and set up a order for 2:30. The driver called me at 2:00 asking me the address. I called them at 3:30 asking where they was at and they guy said we are not going to the area I was in. I said why dident you tell me that earlier when I placed the order. The guy on the phone started yelling on the phone saying I don’t ******* know who told u we went up there and hung up. So now I will change a 5 star review to a 1 they should learn how to talk to customers.
