We recently hired LC Carpentry/HKF Construction for work in our home, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew worked on replacing the stair railing, the old bathtub, and the tiles, as well as the ledges in three of our exterior windows. The team was professional, courteous, punctual, and clearly took pride in their craftsmanship. Hayce communicated well throughout the project, and the crew kept their workspace clean, and completed everything on time. The quality of the work exceeded our expectations, and the final result looks fantastic. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for reliable and high-quality home construction services.

Cristiane and her team at LC Carpentry Masonry did a beautiful job on our new deck in Somerville! We needed a complete tear down of the existing triple decker and a rebuild of a brand new one. Cristiane came to our house to go over our project and offered her insights and ideas as well as informing us what the steps of the process would look like. The quote came quick and was a fair price. Communication was great. We had an idea for what we wanted the porch to look like and they were able to reproduce it exactly! We are so happy with our project! We redid our loving room/dining room area with new paint and recessed lights and in the kitchen a new counter, backsplash and new paint. We also did the floors in all the rooms. The contractor took care of every detail and everyone was fantastic to work with. We’ve never had a project go so smoothly— or so fast. The entire thing was done in last than one month!
I cannot say enough positive things about our experience with LC Carpentry. We renovated the entire upper floor of our home (renovation in late winter-early spring 2023, home was built in 1886 and was practically a gut job), and the project remained on time and on budget. All the teams involved in the work were professional, personable, arrived when they said they would, and had prompt communication. Cristiane listened to our lists of "must haves", helped optimize and make suggestions to our floor plan to make the best use of space, and considered the age and style of our home to ensure the renovation seamlessly fit in with the rest of the house. She cared for our home and project with an unparalleled attention to detail, making it feel like the project was her own home as well. I can't wait to hire LC Carpentry for future work on the house!
