I highly recommend J and T! I have a 100 year old house in NE Yonkers. Just had our stucco repaired, plus patio cleaned, rebricked and pointed, as well as back stairs repaired, including new bluestone for the steps. This is a family business and now has the 3rd generation. Brothers John and Sean are there doing the work themselves, along with their crew. They cost a little more, but they really know what their doing, and notice lots of little things they take care of without adding to the cost. They looked at our house like it was theirs, and did extra things like fixing a gutter downspout, repairing some loose shingles, and filling a couple of small holes in my driveway. Their attitude is that they're working anyway, and these little things are easy for them, and need to be done, so they just do it. They are craftsman - they took all the stucco down by hand, inspected and repaired all of the bricks, then hand applied base waterproofing stucco to match the original color. They scraped and repainted all of the brick - with lots of details. When they saw something that needed a little more TLC they just did it. Eveything they did took only four days. We have more work to be done and J and T will be our first call. If you want the work done right by craftsmen who know what they're doing, hire J and T Construction Paving and Masonry!
Back in June I had somebody drive through my front yard destroying my wrought iron gatealong with the brick retaining wall and knocking down three brick pillars. I hired John to come to restore the retaining wall and the pillars.We went with Cambridge stone and the job came out fantastic. We could not be more pleased with the work he did at our house. His crew was fantastic. They made sureeverything was clean and the work just came out beautiful. Will be using him to do our patio next year and our driveway.
