Nick and Austin from Buckingham Electric came to my house to install a 30 amp Inlet for my stand alone generator which included a 75 ft 30 amp cord . They gave me a courtesy call when they're about 14 minutes from arriving. They were polite, courteous and fast with the installation and also showed me how to use the outlet. I could not recommend Buckingham Electric any higher and especially Nick and Austin who did a great job.
Our AFCIs began to fail, tripping constantly. Such a nuisance! Buckingham replaced the first couple. They came back some months later to replace the next couple that were acting up. To avoid repeated service calls, we decided they should replace all the breakers. Good communication, prompt scheduling, arrive on time, finish the work efficiently, with cost on the low end (about $88 per breaker, material and labor). Quick and easy, no surprises. Can't ask for more. Derek, Preston, Austin. Buckingham is our electrician of choice for as long as we own the home.
We highly recommend Derek and his team for any electrical needs and he will definitely be “our electrician” in the future!He was able to make it out very quickly for a real estate inspection when we had a deadline, and very thoroughly inspected and communicated the concerns with the home.The work was completed the same day as closing making our new property safe (due to previous wiring issues) and ready for move in. We also had other work completed including ceiling fan, exhaust fans, and outlet installs. Derek was very accommodating of our schedule, worked efficiently, friendly, cleaned up well, and extremely knowledgeable!
Mission not accomplished: I hate to leave a bad review but my experience with Derek Gladding, owner of BE, Inc have been frustrating to say the least. As a retiree alone my needs were simple: do whatever is needed for a circuit panel to work properly without blowing. Even with my nights & weekend discount my invoice was expensive @ $2000.00. I'm not cooking much due to the constant fear of the difficulty of reaching my legally placed circuit breaker. To Derek's credit he did come back, but only to tell me which outlets to use so my breakers will not "blow". Great.
A tree recently fell on my house and caused some power lines to be severed. We called Buckingham Electric and they were here within a couple hours. The crew was beyond kind and helpful. They explained their plan and worked as quickly as possible. They were able to fix the lines and make some necessary fixes I didn’t even know we needed! I cannot recommend this company enough. When I say that they were helpful and respectful I mean it! I will be going to them for all my electrical needs from here on out!
