Trevor is very professional, knowledgeable and has excellent communication. Arrived on time, identified and fixed the problem, and also addressed other concerns I had whilst on site. We had been having issues with a two year old wired in smoke and CO2 monitor. It would sudden;y beep for no reason, continually, unless we set it off deliberately by poking the button. It would stop it for a while. Trevor diagnosed it as a dud monitor and replaced it. We also had a kitchen light that would flicker on and off . Then off, leaving me to cook in semi-darkness. Trevor checked our breakers. They were so old that they were showing several failures and potentially a fire hazard. He replaced all the breakers. Even appliances and other electrical devices showed marked improvement which was a pleasant surprise. Trevor was lovely to work with and we would not hesitate to recommend him.
The last windstorm took out the power line from the street pole to my house. BC Hydro’s policy is you have to have an electrician check out the connection at the house to make any repairs if needed. I called TJ Electric and Trevor responded immediately. Within a couple of hours he was at my house and made the necessary repairs to have me up and ready for hydro to reinstall the line. Fantastic service on a day when there were outages all over the lower mainland.
We recently had Trevor complete a lighting upgrade in our bathroom - removed old light, installed 4 pot lights on dimmers - as well as replaced our exhaust fan. Great communication, worked in a timely fashion, reasonable quote, and kept me updated throughout the entire process. The lighting in our bathroom has improved 100%. He also completed the hard wire for the new mirror with built in lighting we had installed the next day. Highly recommend Trevor's services!!!
I needed a new 220v added to my garage for our new EV. Trevor followed up and set a time to come in. He was on time and had all the equipment needed to get it done. He even let me know how much load we had left from our electrical panel, and gave me some recommendations on using the correct amps for the EV, something I wouldn't know to look for.
