Pricing: Now I didn’t fully comparison-shop prices or workmanship quality, because this was a word of mouth referral from a trusted and respected source. But in full disclosure, I did two projects with Element and I know for sure that my first project was competitively priced. For my second, since I was already anchored on using them as a vendor I didn't even bother price shopping. I have to mention that if you have a big time major project like I did, you’re going to need to spend a little money. If that's not ok, make sure both your Medical and Home Owners insurance is up to date, break out your favorite YouTube tutorial video, and get to work. If it is ok, read on...

Workmanship and Professionalism: One thing you’ll notice right away is that the owner definitely ‘looks’ like the kind of guy that can fix whatever it is you’re trying to fix. (If you’ve ever gone to a dentist with bad teeth you know what I mean). He has a very professional presentation and so does his crew. This effectively serves as a sort of confirmation bias that you’ve made the right decision. Turns out that it’s true - you will absolutely get what you paid for and you'll be happy with the end result.

Overview of the Process: I met the owner through an in-community referral while searching for a good electrician to install an EV charging station. He did an excellent, fast and super clean job, At my request, he added in another electrical outlet while he was at it, because the garage doesn't have conveniently placed outlets. It was only a small job, but now the trust was there... They did so well that I called the owner back a half-year later to basically redo nearly all of the lighting in my old and dimly lit 3-level townhouse.

We scheduled a time to meet and did a thorough review of the property; he spent a long time walking with me throughout every single room and going over every concern, taking detailed notes. Notably, he didn't pressure me to get anything I didn't need, in fact it was the opposite. He provided lots of free advice and expertise on what would or wouldn't work well, offered suggestions, and helped me decipher or streamline choices. When it was finally over all of my concerns were addressed and I really felt very much at ease with this large project. I was promptly sent a comprehensive invoice and plan of action. The owner personally showed up with his crew a few days later, exactly on time, to begin the work.

It was not an easy job. Dozens of lights, 3 and 4 way switches that were originally wired incorrectly, dimmers, garage and closet overhead illumination, bathrooms, fans and vents, color matching, USB-C ports, on and on and on... they even installed a new doorbell and chime as well as a modern electric door lock. They helped me out with a few DIY projects that I never got around to doing myself - cost them 5 minutes but saved me hours. I was appreciative. Brought their own tools and ladders, did minimal damage to walls, and they were uber professional and polite. Checked and made sure everything was right before leaving. Followed up and made sure everything was working well after leaving. Had references for other work I wanted done around the house.

No complaints, not a single one. What else do you want? It's a really, really nice operation. I feel very satisfied with my decision to do this work and to use Element as my service provider. I’m a happier person walking around in a freshly made contemporary and nicely illuminated home.

This post is long but I want you to know the kind of person Mason is. He goes above and beyond. Oh boy where do I start?!!! Mason has been a life saver. Yesterday my power went out, we thought it affected other in our community until we found out it was jist our home. Cobb emc came out and informed us what the issues were and what we needed to do. I googled 24hr electricians and started making some calls. Got intouch with one company that said they could come out and so I went with them, then I kept calling around to find a back up. I called Elelment electric and Mason answered. I explained my situation, he was so gracious, he told me he knew exactly was the issue was but he wouldn't be able to come out until the morning because all the supply stores were closed and if I wanted to call another company I should he won't be offended. He said I will call you back in the morning at 7am to check on you. Well I could not reach anyone else. The first company I called came out and after they charged me $330 told me they couldn't do anything until morning so off they went with my $300 and then tried to get me to spend $16,000 for a whole new system that I didn't need. I called Mason back last night at almost midnight and left him a message at almost midnight, and at 7am this morning he called me back, he started calling around to find me a meter box and then came by to drop it off while one of his guys were enroute to my house to do the work. They should up on time they were efficient and polite. Mason even took care of the cobb county inspection for me which passed. Being new to Ga you unfortunately have so many who try to take advantage of people. You don't have to worry about that with Mason. He was very polite, understanding, patient and most importanly honest. He quoted me a price and it was exactly that amount and not a penny over. Thank you Mason. I appreciate you.
