Called for a quote for installing electrical for mini splits. The lady at the office had a condescending attitude. After a number of snarky/snide comments on her part insinuating that I did not know what I was talking about I asked her if she was purposefully trying to be difficult and she hung up on me. I have used Jay Arenas/An Electrician for work many years ago and it was a wonderful experience but his secretary is costing him business. Won't be recommending this company or calling again. Called another company who was helpful and inquisitive with my project...the opposite of my experience with An Electrician.

Called these guys on a Friday when I realized I was out of my depth installing an EV charger. They came out first thing the following Monday and not only installed it but pulled a permit and had the work inspected all in the same day! Jay was an absolute delight to work with. He was knowledgeable and worked diligently to finish the project. After he finished the work he provided me an invoice and allowed me to send a check from my online bill pay portal. However, after I set up his bill to be paid I received a phone call asserting that I owed an additional 95 dollars because he miscalculated the hours worked. I would absolutely use Jay again for any of my needs. However, moving forward I would recommend having invoices signed as final bill so the amounts don't change.
