SB Electrical Contractors

After trying to solve an electrical issue on my own for a few hours I decided to call SB and they responded quickly with same day service and solved my issue within 15 minutes of arriving. The level of expertise and knowledge shows he knows exactly what he’s doing and how to get it done. He’s also professional and gave great pricing. I’d definitely recommend using SB if you’re in the Santa Clarita area.

Power went out when our 16 year old was home alone babysitting toddlers, in a panic we called to have an electrician come out and see what happened, and met him here. Once he was already at our house he says theres a diagnostic and a service fee, which we said okay, but he did not say what that fee was. Also did not disclose the fee ahead of time on the phone. Then he said there was no power coming from the city. And then made a comment about high winds and power being shut off out of caution (we didn't get any notifications from Edison that this would happen, and on the website it did not say our area was having an outage)* update here, it was a blown transformer fuse, and still absolutely ridiculous not to disclose prices on the phone, BEFORE arrival. He spent a total of maybe 10 minutes here and said he lived 11 minutes away.... but the proceeded to charge us $300 for the visit... once he was already here, this was not disclosed on the phone, or before he proceeded to "diagnose" the lack of power at the breaker with his meter. And what do you even do in that situation? Say no?? We could have just gone to a hotel for the night for that price. Just absolutely floored since all of the reviews said the opposite.

These folks are excellent. I experienced them as honest w excellent integrity. Their communication is clear n consistent-staying in touch throughout first phases of reinventing this tool shed into a beautiful office/bedroom??. Their staff was friendly w a super work ethic, as well, which reflected in their work. Mariela n Barrett showed an excellent attention to customer service. They brought great attention to detail along w having good ideas. I look forward to hiring these folks for several other projects after this little SHED is finished. Barret and his wife Mariela (SB Construction) answered an Angi list project I posted. They were professional and very helpful, they called me back and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Barret showed up the next day and took an extensive look at the project. He then assured me he had the right staff to complete the job (Pre Built aluminum alloy powder coated pergola shipped in pieces needing assembly). No backyard is the same, Barret with his experience knows this and brought a great crew that made custom corrections that made the structure look, operate, and function great with upgrades to how the pergola is fastened down to the existing concrete or grass area. Mariela was professional and experienced with the construction work and the financial end of the project. She took care of the business portion ensuring us that with every project they take on, it is guaranteed or they will make it right. All in all, I had a great experience with SB Construction and would recommend them for any project you got around the house or business.
