UPDATE: Needed 1 piece of trim and as always, they had it in stock! So nice to shop at a place that has the items in stock! Friendly service each time we come in. Natalie was fantastic!
Amarillo Floor Company is the best flooring company in town! From the moment you walk in the door until the job is done, every employee takes their commitment to service very seriously. Everyone was friendly and helpful - from the choosing of my tile and grout, (without being pushy) managing the time around other work being done, to the final cleanup - everyone was pleasant and reliable. Poncho and Angel showed up exactly when they said they would. The project manager checked on us every day. I felt like I was the most valued customer they had, and that inspires confidence for me. Everyone did what they said they would do, and kept the worksite neat. My new floors and backsplash are gorgeous! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Absolutely worth every penny!
Talk about lack of care for their customer. Tile installed on the floor was not as advertised in the show room - has a tan undertone instead of gray. Amarillo floor has since discontinued carrying this tile because of this KNOWN issue prior to us choosing the tile. Their management is unwilling to work with us to correct this 2 part problem of different color flooring (some tan and some gray toned tiles) and the fact that we wanted a gray tone to match the rest of the tile installed in the bathroom. We will not ever use them again.*Update: when we picked out the tile in the showroom they were gray like the few pieces shown in the photo that match the other floor tile and the wall tile.
I can't recommend these guys enough! I'm so sorry it took me a year to do this!We had a sunken living room and my husband had mobility issues. We wanted to update the flooring, but most of all we needed to fill in the sunken living room. After consulting with the our sales person, Robert Laminack, he researched and found that concrete was cheaper than a wooden platform to fill in the area in order to make it all one level from the front entry, hallway, thru the living room, kitchen, dining room, laundry room and back door entry. He was able to sell us tile that was left over from a job they had done and just overall great deal! From John Wetzel who led the demolition and installation, to Sergio, the concrete professional to the tile designer/layer, I think his name was Alfredo, they were professional, courteous and covered our belongings the best they could to keep the dust down. They even dealt with us having to live in our bedroom while they did the work. The tile design was just what we wanted, meticulous and great! I'm am a difficult person to please, but they went above and beyond our expectations.John Wetzel, to save us money, replaced the baseboards in the living room area only where it was sunken. The rest they were able to work the tile under the existing baseboards. John even painted them for us!1 year later, the floor is holding up great and now that hubby is in a wheelchair it was the absolutely greatest decision. Not to mention it really raised our home value!Thank you guys again!
When I arrived there were just a couple other customers. They were being helped. Spent over 30 minutes in the store as other customers came in they were promptly taken care of. I was never provided with any service or help. They have a wonderful selection of tile and carpet. Customer service was definitely lacking. Prefer to support local however if that's the experience that I get it makes it hard to support them.
