I went to several different flooring stores. Giant Carpet on Saunders Rd in Barrie was by far the cheapest. And the flooring is excellent quality. This is the second time we have purchased from them. Staff are very helpful and extremely friendly. Plus there is no pressure to buy. I highly recommend them for all your flooring needs.

I recently purchased waterproof laminate flooring with AC5 quality, and I couldn’t be happier! The durability is outstanding — it can easily handle heavy foot traffic while still looking brand new. The waterproof feature gives me complete peace of mind, especially in areas like the kitchen and basement. On top of that, the price was unbeatable for the quality I received. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-grade flooring at the best price!

We had waterproof laminate flooring installed over a vapor barrier, along with new trim around the floor and doors. The purchase process was smooth—Hardwood Giant had a great selection of modern, wide plank options that are both stylish and durable.
The measuring and installation were completed in just one day. There was a minor issue with the trim and a water line, but nothing serious—and this is where the team truly impressed us. They went above and beyond to make it right, showing real professionalism.
A special shoutout to Rohan, who was the most communicative and helpful agent I’ve worked with in the past 5 years. He’s a genuinely great guy who made the entire process stress-free.
If I could give a 6th star, I would. Highly recommend.
