Overall, had a wonderful experience at the LL store, but had some issues with Watson Installations.Richard at the Baton Rouge store was super helpful and patient with us! He was very knowledgeable and sold us on the Duravana luxury vinyl plank. We absolutely love the product, and got a great deal on it! They had a sale running on almost all vinyl when we went, but we ultimately found a Duravana color we loved on the clearance rack. It is very scratch resistant, water-proof, and pet proof. We tried destroying the sample and couldn't! We got ~1,200 SQFT of flooring for a grand total (including install) of about $9,350. We did remove furniture ourselves, so that saved some money.I knocked one star off due to the installation (Watson Installations). I suppose this isn't technically LL Flooring, but LL coordinated the install. I was upset that in at least 3 prominent places, there were identical boards installed side-by-side. I think the flooring we ordered had 20 different patterns, so I don't see why the repeats happened side-by-side. Also, they forgot to caulk several spots where the baseboards meet the doorframe (quarter round). Lastly, the flooring should have been continuous throughout the entire house, but they installed transition pieces in each of the 3 bedroom entrances (see pics). I think the transition pieces were only necessary to cover up the fact that the boards were not installed continuously throughout the house, as the boards did not align from room to room.
The best customer service I've received thus far since I've been working on my rental home. All of the associates are very well knowledgeable about the different types of floors. I've learned a lot. They offer free measurements and quotes and good price for installation.
