We love the work Thomas Flooring did for our floors and stairs! Kirsty is wonderful; we appreciated her prompt and clear communication throughout the whole process, answering any questions we had and keeping us informed on all any updates. Daryl and Andy were great; we’re especially impressed with the sanding and staining of existing stairs to match new wood floors in rest of house - seamless! A lovely team to work with. Kirsty was an expert in carpet selection and putting this big 2 day project together and her installer did a perfect job in our upper 4 bedrooms of our house. I recommend splitting a 4 bedrooms re-carpeting project into 2 different installation days if you have lots of furniture already in place as we do. We did the install on a Thursday and Tuesday and I was able move the dressers, beds, desks, chairs, books, closet clothes out over the 2 days before each install day. I slide the dressers, mattress, book cases, on sliders available in a kit at Home Hardware. It took us about 4 hours to clear out 2 rooms and move the contents to the other rooms. It took about 2 hours to move it all back after carpet install was complete. We repeated this process for the next 2 rooms as well. We declined having the installer move the furniture which saved us about $280. This project requires a lot of careful planning on my part to avoid chaos and damaging walls or floors. Fortunately planning ensured no damage anywhere and the carpet by Anderson is beautiful.

My review needs to start with a sincere apology - I'm sorry to the fine folks at Thomas Flooring for not posting a review about my experience sooner. Going back more than 6-months ago now, I stopped by Thomas Flooring on my quest for knowledge re: an upcoming renovation that involved laying some LVP. While there is a lot of information to be had these days online, nothing truly beats speaking directly with experts in their field and Thomas Flooring is no exception. The owner happened to be working on the day of my visit and subsequent visits too and she shared her extensive knowledge on brands, flooring types and technologies, and patiently answered all of my questions. The team even went so far as to procure a sample from another customer during installation to share with our installer because the time to get a sample from the manufacturer was far too long. This kind act was unsolicited and allowed us to make an informed decision in time.
