Simply stated, this company adds a significant level of value to home improvement projects from beginning to end.Over the past several years, our home improvement projects have included a home addition, a complete kitchen remodel, and a carpet replacement project on two levels of our home. In each case, Megan and Tammy have been wonderful to work with – demonstrating “above and beyond” levels of assistance at every stage of these projects, including item selections, project planning/scheduling, and support/service, specifically --Selections: Megan quickly understood our goals for each of these projects, recognized our likes/dislikes, and guided us toward a coordinated look for each room. We have numerous examples of her “extra mile” level of support, including making an in-person warehouse visit with us for a specific granite slab selection, providing recommendations on a stacked stone layout for a key design element of the four-season porch, and providing ideas and insight on other large/small aspects of the projects including floor vents, fixtures, wood types, etc.Project Planning, Scheduling: For each of the projects, the entire team did an excellent job with planning and scheduling. With very few exceptions, their subcontractors on the projects arrived on-time and finished within the allotted time. Their ability to plan – and execute according to plan -- made coordination with other subcontractors and workers much easier and straightforward.Support, Service: It’s rare to have every aspect of a home improvement project completed without issues. However, in the rare cases of encountering issues involving Creative Floor and Design, Megan and Tammy put on a “Master Class” in handling post-project customer service. We found them to be extremely responsive – with a clear focus on customer satisfaction.Of all the vendors we worked with on these projects, Creative Floor and Design clearly stood out as one of the very best. We used Creative flooring and Design twice. We did an upgrade with flooring, countertops and backsplash. Tammy worked with me to find colors that worked well with my golden oak cabinets. I have to say everything she recommended looks great! We are pleased.Used creative flooring again when we had a septic backup in our basement. We were very upset that our lower level needed to be redone. With the help of Tammy, she was able to reassure we could get it back to what it was. It now looks just as good if not better than before.
Tammy has helped me now with two house builds. She has such a great eye for color and detail. Very helpful too especially with our contractor. I have recommended her to several others and they have thanked me and told me how wonderful it was to work with her. My daughter is planning a build this year and can’t wait to work with Tammy and Megan!
Bad experience with Tammy from day 1. Was rocky from the start when there was push back around her recommendations for us, because we didn't agree with what she picked out. Ran into a problem during install, and rather than attempt to work with us she decided being confrontational, unprofessional, and rude would be the answer, despite us having the sample in our hand and not matching the tile being installed. Mistakes happen, own them and work toward a resolution.
