Pros:Reasonably priced.Lots of availability for installation. The new carpet was installed in just a few hours.Cons:There is no clean up after installation (imo this should be advertised during the purchasing process. They do not carry vacuums).A piece of trim was broken and multiple pieces of trim were left off and put on our floor in the bathroom with the nails facing up.The closet doors were removed to carpet a bedroom and were put and left in a different room. They were not put back on.
We have built 2 houses and used Thoroughbred Carpets for both houses. We were happy with their service the 1st time and when we built our retirement home, we upgraded our flooring and used Thoroughbred Carpets again. That was a mistake. The plank flooring we received started to buckle and bubble within 6 months.I asked for the warranty information as they had the manufacturer come out to take a look. Of course he blamed it on our dogs even though our dogs were not in the area we were having issues. We then had the manager of Thoroughbred come out and he blamed it on the installation and how we were washing the floor but he said they would replace the faulty areas....that was back in 2019 and to this day, they wont respond and our flooring has not been replaced. It is beyond disappointing and 4 years later, I'm just as disappointed and will no longer recommend them. In fact, I tell everyone to stay away from them. If you look at other reviews, it doesn't seem like I am the only one dissatisfied. If you don't have any issues, they are good but the moment you do, expect a run around and don't trust them when they say they will fix it....
From start to finish everything went smoothly and turned out flawlessly.Kaitlyn was fantastic to work with. She went out of her way on her own time to help us find a more suitable/affordable option from what we initially liked. Communication was fantastic from the whole team. Our installer Jason was very experienced and outgoing.Highly recommend.Thank you again!Eric H.
Couldn't be more happy. Went to the showroom and met Kaylee, picked a few samples and set up a measurement. Rob came out and measured and we scheduled bedrooms and stairs/hallway for two separate dates. Jason and Alonso put the carpet in and did an excellent job. Those guys are machines. Every person we came in contact with at Thoroughbred was super nice. We had a great experience and would definitely work with them again.
I was referred to Thoroughbred by my realtor when I bought my new home, a recent foreclosure where all the flooring was removed. 2,000 Sqft of subfloor and concrete only. Baseboards damaged, missing etc. I was closest to the Savage Location. I walked in and Kaylee was great in helping me pick out some samples. They scheduled a free measurement. It just so happened Rob came to measure two days later and walked home a few houses down. ?? Jay was the installer. He is truly a master. He went above and beyond making sure it was done right. He prepped the floors pulling nails and staples by himself. He expertly did my stairs. The whole house is LVP including stairs. As a new single dad Thoroughbred team communicated with me along the way. I was at work while installers did their work. They cleaned up every day as much as possible. I will always recommend the Savage team and will use them in the future. Thanks Kaylee and Rob, Jay!
