The team at Bolcor went above and beyond to provide the best service. The installation was done in one day and the team was extremely professional. Tom, John and the installation were very helpful and always had the best attitude when it came to answering my questions. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them for any future projects.
Bolcor ReviewLook no further!!! We have had Bolcor perform several jobs for us and our family and friends through the years. Most impressive was after my parents house got flooded and destroyed from Hurricane Ian, they repaired and remodeled the entire house. They were extremely reasonably priced, even after the hurricane. They showed up immediately and did everything as promised and more. They were less than half the cost of the storm chasers. They took care of everything, from the floors to drywall to kitchens and bathrooms. Their crew was clean, knowledgeable and courteous. They did absolutely fantastic work! Bolcor has since done a number of remodeling and flooring jobs for us and our friends. Always consistent and top notch!
We used Bolcor Flooring and Exteriors On our home after hurricane Ian in a rush to get our home back in a living manner. All other companies were pushed back many months but when we called Bolcor I spoke directly with the owner Johnny and he got the job done quickly and made us a big priority on getting our family back in a living home. After hurricane Ian, our family was very stressed out and Bolcor flooring helped Take some of that stress off our shoulders and made our home look beautiful again! All new cabinets, flooring, drywall and light fixtures all in our house also great pricing by the way. Highly recommend this company to anyone looking to get their home interior renovated!
I have held back on posting this review for 2 years because I dislike giving negative reviews but it is daily we are reminded of the shady work and horrible craftsmanship that we experienced with this company. We were going to purchase our flooring at Home Depot and hire someone from marketplace to install it, like we had done before. Instead we decided since it was our forever home we would go with “the best in the Cape”, because it was a company not a contractor. What we were sold was a company with multimillion dollar contracts but what we got was worse than if we hired off of marketplace where people give reviews of that specific teams work. Our house was empty, we closed and we hadn’t moved in. We turned the keys over to the demo person as we epoxied the floor in the garage. We returned the following day to check on our epoxy and the demo guy parked the machine on our freshly epoxied floor which he watched us put down. When he moved the machine it ripped up the epoxy. On his way in the house he dented the front door, the fridge , the dish washer to the point it no longer worked and ripped the molding off our kitchen cabinets. Every door they removed had chunks of paint missing or holes in them as well. The company did repair the doors and molding but did nothing about the 5k in appliances we had to replace due to their mistakes. Now on to the tile. The floor is uneven, there are way more pics than I have uploaded. You can’t even scoot furniture across the room without it catching on uneven tile. They came to repair it after we complained and they brought the same crew for 5 months repairing the same spots without any resolution. Our flooring still looks horrible. Problem is the contractors, not employees of the company(essentially what we were avoiding by going with a “reputable” company) didn’t properly level the flooring the first time, installing uneven tiles through out so when they tried to repair them they would have to replace the entire section. For 5 months we dealt with the same team tearing up the same couple of tiles and replacing them uneven again. They told us multiple times “it’s the best we can do”. The owner of the company and countless project managers showed up and said it wasn’t right and rinse repeat for another round still ended up with the same horrible craftsmanship. Daily we find ourselves coming across spots of lifted tile, grout coming up or heck the latest prompting me to finally give the review, no grout found when we moved the couch. The tile team killed our grass in the front yard dumping chemicals all over it, took us weeks to pick up all the trash left in the yard, like they just tossed the pieces in the grass after removing them. They cut the tile on our pool deck, which the liquid from the cutting dried all over our pool deck, house, pool and pool screen with 0 resolution from the company on clean up. The thin set was mixed on our concrete patio and in our decorative rocks which until this day are still covered in thin set. After 5 months of the hassle we gave up and just paid them to move on with our lives. Horrible experience that we are reminded of daily. Just order from Home Depot, Lowe’s etc and hire your own contractors to do the work, that’s what Bolcor did to us anyway and charged us double the price.
I reached out to Bolcor to replace my flooring after sustaining water damage from Hurricane Ian. Everyone I interacted with was extremely professional and friendly. The floors are beautiful (we switched from laminate to 20 mil vinyl plank).I mostly interacted with Clint and Ed. I can’t say enough good things about those two. They even stayed way over to help me put a Murphy bed (from hell) back together since it was too heavy and bulky for me to lift while also reattaching it to the wall. The whole time they joked around and didn’t seem mad about helping me (but I felt SO bad because I know it was a huge pain lol. ) Thank you guys SO much! You are the best!!I’ve already referred them to everyone who asks about our floors and will continue doing so. :)
