Do you ever get the feeling you’ve run into a sketchy business before you ever walk in? That was my experience with Custom Carpet and vinyl. My mother received a quote from this establishment that was double the cost of what many contractors are quoting. I called and spoke to Doug and wanted to understand why everything seemed to be so expensive. Doug seemed defensive when I asked about the extra cost of freight, removal fees, and very high retail cost of common things like LVP and quarter round. Doug replied that my mother can shop at those places if she doesn’t like it. I couldn’t help but laugh and say “you don’t have to be a smart A about it”. Doug hung up, which saves my family the trouble of sending them a rejection email. To the uninitiated in this business, just know that the freight cost is completely fabricated. You won’t see any truck dropping off supplies here because they go to the warehouse that has everything. They get all of the up charged items the same way you or I would get them: going to Home Depot or Lowe’s, but get to charge you extra. It breaks my heart to hear how big box stores outcompete little stores until you run into a good ole boy operation like this. It just seems that they don’t care because, to them, there’s another sucker around the corner that will pay the high prices for mediocre service. 1/5 stars for service, 5/5 stars for people watching.

Great bunch of people !!! They were prompt, polite, and very professional ! They removed and replaced the carpet in my 2600 Sq ft home, all in about 5 hours time . Did an excellent job ! Made my house look brand new !!! If you have flooring needs, call Custom Carpet & Vinyl... Great Product, Great Price, and most of all, Great People !!!

I was in need of some new carpet and was recommended to reach out to Doug. He came out, measured the space and showed me some samples. I picked my carpet and by the next day he sent me a quote. My carpet was ordered and came in within 1.5 weeks. We set up installation for the next day and the job was completed in 1 day. My carpet looks amazing and really transformed my space. Everyone was friendly and helpful with the process of replacing my carpet. I would highly recommend using Custom Carpet & Vinyl for your flooring needs.

My husband and I had vinyl plank flooring installed by Custom Carpet & Vinyl throughout our brand new, three-story home several months ago. I waited to give a review so we could see how the flooring would wear and if the craftsmanship is on par--we have a lot of traffic in-and-out with our family of three AND our three dogs. Our flooring was BEAUTIFUL when it was installed and it remains BEAUTIFUL today! We shopped around for pricing and Custom Carpet was, by far, the least expensive. The guys are very nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I was completely comfortable with them working in my home. We couldn't be more happy with the product we purchased, the installation, and the family feel we got from Custom Carpet & Vinyl. I have referred many friends to Doug, and they are just as excited and happy about their flooring as we are!
