10/10 recommendation across the board for their knowledgeable customer service, product, installation and communication. We were up against a tight timeline and the manager, Robert took great care of us. Robert stayed late so I could make it down to their showroom after work when it would be just at their closing time. Robert found an exact match to what I had found at a big box store but with better quality, better price and better installation date. He went above and beyond to take measurements and give recommendations. The communication and service is unmatched and I will be using them again along with recommending them to everyone I know! We were able to meet the deadline and with a better product. I cannot say enough good things about Robert, the company and his whole team. Cost U Less is very lucky to have such dedicated and caring people to represent them so well!
First off, I would like to state that I am a returning customer from a previous job that was handled professionally.Since then, I have moved into a newer home and looking to finish basement as well as stretch carpet in areas that were needed. So, the wife and I decided to go with this company again.Installation day, two guys show up. One older gentleman and young gentleman (he didn’t speak English which is fine but lacked experienced). The younger individual is instructed to go upstairs to stretch the carpet while the older gentlemen installed the new carpet in the basement. One hour into the installation, I'm called upstairs and shown that the younger kid obviously OVER-STRETCHED my carpet causing the glued carpet seam to come undone.Fast-forward two weeks later, this company sent out warranty specialists to evaluate the issue. The two older gentleman walked upstairs and within 3 min said that the issue was not their companies fault but the initial installers. And that I must have noticed the line in my carpet prior to them stretching the carpet. This BLEW MY MIND, as my wife and I would have noticed a line in our carpet in the 4 years living in this home.I have pictures below for those who are interested.Now I'm stuck having to replace my carpet upstairs because this company allowed an inexperienced individual come in and over-stretch my carpet and blame the initial installer.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH COMPANIES WHO FAIL TO COVER EXPENSES THAT THEY CAUSE!
Walked in their show room and ended up working with Ed. Really good guy. Helped me figure out which carpet would be best for a rental and also later an upgrade for my personal home.I liked working with Ed, Allan, and Marcy at Costuless and will use them again.We had an unfortunate sewer problem and slight flooding in our basement. Allan took my call when I was in a pinch and had a guy out helping us trim and tuck carpet in an effort to save some unaffected rooms the next day.Couldn’t ask for better customer service, install team was tidy and careful, and their post install service has been better than I’ve experienced elsewhere. I was disappointed with Cost U Less flooring carpet installers. They didn't speak English, I wasn't able to communicate in an effective way. Damages included: chipped tile, gouged walls, transmissions to tile unfinished, wires severed for in-wall speakers, stair treads lumpy.The installation team lacked integrity and didn't respect my property, didn't bring to my attention the damages they caused. Cost U Less said they would come back and make it right, but the same installers are not welcome in my home anymore.Update, Alan, the store manager came out to assess, he had Cody come the following week and correct the installation problems, the painter corrected the wall and baseboards. Thanks for making things right.
Love love love my flooring! I went to several places looking at options and comparing prices, and Cost U Less had both the best price and service. Avery was very patient with my back and forth decision process and made great suggestions based on the look I was going for. They also offer vinyl tile, which is a great way to get a tile look at a vinyl price. I had my flooring done back in February and I STILL absolutely love the way it turned out. We'll definitely be back for any future flooring needs!
