Freeway Carpets & Wood Floors

The sign out front isn’t just a catchy slogan—it’s truly a way of life for the team at Freeway Carpets. "The friendliest little carpet store" perfectly captures the heart and soul of Tom, Margie, and their entire team. As a family-owned small business in El Paso, they go above and beyond to ensure that every person who walks through their doors feels valued and cared for. From our very first visit, when we were just brainstorming ideas, to the multiple follow-up trips as we refined our design choices, every interaction was warm, welcoming, and genuinely pleasant. Their dedication to providing top-notch customer service is unmatched, and they made us feel like part of the family every step of the way. The installation team was equally impressive—professional, efficient, and detail-oriented. When the final product was revealed, we were absolutely blown away. The quality of their work exceeded all of our expectations, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. If you’re looking for a business that truly puts their customers first and delivers exceptional results, look no further than Freeway Carpets. They’ve earned our highest recommendation!

0 stars if possible. These people are a bunch of crooks. They tried to inflate my cost from my estimate by almost double and refused to explain why. They refused to give me anything in writing because they knew I had figured out that the math just didn’t add up. This was after trying to reach them multiple times with no response. Do not shop here unless you like throwing money away or getting cheated. I took my business elsewhere and did not regret it at all. But hey, they will serve you alcohol in the showroom if you like, if that is your thing.

I’m impressed with the excellent customer service as soon as I walked in, I was offered something to drink. I can buy floors anywhere but when I’m treated special, I know that this is the only place that I will keep comming back to do business with. They offer the largest selection of LVT and they also have Hardwood Floors, Porcelain Tile and Carpet.

Our experience with Freeway Carpets has always been a very positive one. They go above and beyond to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Their prices are certainly reasonable. The staff is friendly and delivery is always on time. We highly recommend them to anyone.

Tom and his crew at Freeway Carpets were the very first company I hired when I first moved to El Paso 18 years ago. They did such a good job that I have always returned to them for all my interior flooring needs. This is the third home they have worked on for me and they never disappoint. They are trustworthy, clean, and very professional. Great job!
