Reviews often highlight knowledgeable showroom guidance and consistent communication from staff during selection and ordering. Many customers praise installers for punctuality, cleanliness, and neat results, with several mentions of carpet and tile projects. A few reviews raise concerns about clarity of quotes and added prep charges at installation. Overall ratings skew strongly positive with repeat mentions of helpful staff members by name.
From start to finish, I can't say enough for this company. Avi "the great" in showroom was extremely knowledgeable and came out and measured and brought swatches to the condo to make sure we would like what we picked out in the showroom and Flabio and Ricardo, the installers...I just can't tell you how quick, professional and tidy from start to finish. I have two beautifully carpeted rooms and just quality service all the way around. I'd give them 10 stars.
I could choose plenty of places to buy the tile I need for my condominium. I chose dolphin and I could not have done any better. Phil Corey is not only easy to talk to knowledgeable on the product but genuinely a nice guy. Any questions I had and my wife had Phil can answer. I will follow up with another review once the job is finished so we’re through the ordering part the paying pot, the logistics of it and everything seems to be on target and my one of my best friends already used dolphin and they did an amazing job.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Dolphin Carpet & Tile does not stand by their word, their quotes are misleading, and they nickel-and-dime you for everything. What they quote you is only the base product and labor — then once the installers arrive, suddenly there are “prep charges” they claim were never included. Total bait-and-switch.The installation itself was decent, but that’s where the positives end. During the kitchen tile install, they chipped tile near my cabinets and jammed tile underneath, which caused my cabinet door to no longer close. Instead of taking responsibility, they immediately said, “It wasn’t us.”They sent out district managers and assistant general managers — all with the same exact mentality as the installer: deny, deflect, and take zero accountability.I was very upfront with Avi and told him we would be disputing the charges with our credit card company due to the damage done to our home. Then suddenly the assistant general manager acts “surprised” and offers absolutely nothing to fix the issue — just two boxes of tile. That doesn’t fix a damaged cabinet. We gave them three months to prepare for this installation. We moved out of the house to make it easier for them — ordered a POD and emptied the entire home except for a few pieces of furniture. And this is how they treat customers? Now, instead of fixing the damage they caused, they are threatening to put a lien on our home over the very work they damaged. That tells you everything you need to know about how this company operates. There is no project oversight, no accountability, and no integrity. The entire process — from purchasing the tile, to financing, to installation — was an absolute joke.Save yourself the stress and financial risk. There are plenty of reputable companies in South Florida. You’d be better off going to Home Depot.Dolphin Carpet & Tile does NOT stand by their work. Once they have your money, you’re on your own.Absolutely do not use this company.
Rick did a great job on placing the order and guiding my client to choose the right material we purchased very nice high quality wood floors from them at the best price in the market .. beautiful color an on time delivery
Great experience from start to finish. Phil, the salesperson, was patient, helpful, and made the whole process easy. But the real highlight was the installation, Flavio and Ricardo were the most professional and skilled installers I've ever seen. They worked efficiently, left everything spotless, and the carpet looks perfect. Highly recommend especially if you can request Phil, Flavio, and Ricardo.
