If I had the chance to choose again, I would not purchase flooring from this store. Please be aware of their return policy.I recently completed a home renovation project. Although I originally planned to buy flooring from Costco, my contractor recommended this store instead. The flooring itself is fine, but the return policy is extremely inconvenient. They only allow returns within 30 days. As many homeowners know, remodeling is a lengthy process with many dependencies, and it’s often impossible to complete everything within one month.When we made the purchase, no one in the store emphasized the strict return window. My contractor ended up buying more flooring than we needed. When we called to request a return (about six weeks after the purchase), we were told it was no longer allowed.Now I’m left with a few unopened boxes of flooring sitting in my garage, and I have no idea what to do with them. Very disappointing experience overall. I would never buy floor from this store again.
GEW Floor has been fantastic to work with. My floors and window coverings were done by them and I really liked that they followed up afterwards to make sure everything was satisfactory. Highly recommend!
I was looking for a specific brand LVP just no store carries it, not in Home Depot not Lowes, but GEW not just carries it, and Mr. Wu the owner gave me very reasonable price. Their installation team is also superior, I say they are doing flooring like doing an art work. I strongly suggest anyone looking for floor installation GEW in your choice.
Great selection with great prices. They are one of the few suppliers of both Gaia and Medieval in the bay. However... the service you get heavily depends on who's there on that day.Jenny the lady working there was super helpful, she got great communication skills and gave honest opinions based on her years of experience working with these products, even at the detriment of getting a bigger sale. I really appreciated that.However a couple other guys working there were very rude. They don't seem invested in their work at all (typically jaded) and throw all kinds of attitudes at you if you don't speak Chinese. Very unprofessional.
Most flooring shop sells the same named brand but what makes GEW so unique is their after sale customer service. I can say they have the best customer service I had during my whole house remodel. Highly recommend Lin. She is soooo GOOD!! We have questions after we installed our floor. Lin patiently answered all our questions and provide professional advice about the floor.
