Dudley called me to set an appointment to give a estimate to replace flooring. That day & time comes and Dudley is a no-show. I called the office to find that he was still in the shop, not even on the way or trying to make the appointment anywhere near on-time, or call to say what's going on. Just ghosted... I feel like I dodged a bullet with this company.
I am thrilled with this store! When a plumber ripped up my bathroom tile when removing a pedestal sink, Quality came to the rescue and put in a whole new floor in one day. Their installer is a master and did an absolutely perfect job. Everything was seamless from start to finish. Go see Heather and Dudley. They have a fabulous selection of carpet and tile and the best prices anywhere in Georgetown.
They were fast and did great work, I am taking off a star because they did not ask me what direction to lay the tile, did not follow the discussed schedule and one of their workers set something on my brand new white quartz countertop leaving marks. If I could take off a half star I would - these are hardly a full stars worth of complaints.I requested they wait until the backsplash guy finished working before they started laying the floor tile and they assured me they would only complete the demo of the vinyl before he was scheduled and he would still be able to do his job. They ended up being ahead of schedule and laid the tile, which, normally would be great but in this case, the backsplash guy had one day available in his schedule and it was the day you couldn't walk on the tile because they laid tile ahead of schedule.I was out of state during the work but they knew this and had my phone number and could have asked me before laying the tile in the perpendicular direction to the living room floor.The marks did come off with magic eraser but would have appreciated if they could have refrained from using the brand new white quartz countertops.Overall - I am satisfied and I would use them again and I would recommend them, I would just recommend noting the direction you want the tile laid and expect they could be ahead of the discussed schedule.
I purchased flooring from Dudley and the product I selected was not the quality I wanted for my home. Working through the refund process was a challenge, but we finally came to an agreement and have settled this matter to my satisfaction.
Great experience. Dudley, the owner, was incredibly helpful in selecting carpeting for house and tile for bath. He was very flexible and accommodating in working with my schedule as I was having to travel back and forth between Austin and Houston. Even helped me find a painter the last minute, when mine canceled. Very fair pricing and I can't say enough nice things about the team that did tear out and installation. Very neat, friendly and professional!! Highly recommend.
