Was this a bate and switch? Or an honest mistake?As a business owner myself, I understand that mistakes can happen. But when such mistakes do happen, especially ones that are caused by employees, I, as the business owner, will make every attempt to rectify the situation and keep the customer happy.Earlier today, I called and inquired about a particular underlayment product. In my phone conversation, I described the underlayment colors on both sides, both in Armenian and in English.Based on my explanation, the employee knew what I wanted, and quoted the price accordingly.I drove 20 minutes on a Friday afternoon through traffic, to come in and pay for the merchandise that I had requested. However, the employee stated that while I was very descriptive in my product, she had nevertheless quoted the wrong price.The lovely employee acknowledged her mistake and apologized, and even volunteered to pay the difference.The owner, however, simply said (in Armenian): "okay I get it, you drove a long time. I'm not going to take a loss so I'll give you a nickel discount per square footage. Take it or leave it."So I left and took my business across the street.While I would love to believe that it was an honest mistake (which is why the employee offered to pay the difference), the owner's approach to remedying the situation was unacceptable and well below the norm. (Folks, it's not about the price, because I willingly went across the street and paid the same amount. It's about the lack of customer service. So hopefully this review will make them think twice in the future! The business is worth one star, but I'm giving them two stars because of the employee's willingness to remedy the situation.)
Best spot to buy your tile and laminate. I was really amazed by the selection they have. Got the best deal and service. Will be back soon for more stuff.
This place will rip you off. So, if you want to save your time and money go somewhere else. Also, very unprofessional and rude staff. Dishonest about their return policy. Will mislead you in all the ways possible to sell their product. You WILL REGRET FOR SURE.
I wish I could give them 0 stars. I want to start with saying that I NEVER write reviews. This is my first one. I just couldn't help myself and I wanted everyone to know. First of all, I visited their store yesterday and none of the employees/personnel wore a mask. So they really don't care about their customers' health and safety (note: it is the month of January when the COVID cases are at their peak). I also had a very bad experience purchasing tiles from them. I bought 5 boxes which I never even opened. When I wanted to return these tiles the next day, they told me that this purchase was not returnable because the supplier did not accept returns. I was really upset because per the purchase invoice that I received from Royal Parquet Group and my phone conversation with a supplier representative (I called them directly), my purchase could be returned within 30 days. Clearly, the Royal Parquet Group refuses to carry out the terms of their own written return policy. So beware of Royal Parquet Group's unethical and deceitful behaviour. Also, I found out today that you can buy the same products by the same supplier at many other stores at a much cheaper price. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place at any cost.
We were shopping at this place since purchased our property, and completed the repair of our unit and the building. Every time we visit the store, it is clean, neatly organized with an incredible selection of tiles, floor coverings, bath accessories, and more with the best customer service. The staff, including the store owner, are very knowledgeable and helpful. The showroom is amazing! During last visit for our outdoor deck project, they shared great ideas about which tiles are suitable for the work we are doing. The choice ranges from very inexpensive to very beautiful glass tiles and other supplies. Thank you all for your hard work!
