Marilyn Shapiro on Paul's Carpet & Tile

We were very happy with our carpeting purchase from Paul’s Carpet and Tile. Paul gave us a fair price on a lovely carpet for our bedroom. Pedro, a one-man powerhouse, came on time to install the carpet. He was pleasant to work with, and we were impressed with both the job he did and the clean-up that occurred when he was finished. The new flooring is soft and plush under our feet. My only regret is that we didn’t rip up the old carpeting years ago!

My family has used Paul’s Carpet and tile for over 18 years. From our whole house, to our family business, to small spaces and odd jobs, they have always come through with great customer service and realizability. Now my sons use Paul’s also, just recently Paul helped my youngest son floor his new gym, I felt safe knowing that he would receive honest and affordable service.

Brent Winters on Paul's Carpet & Tile

Watch out! The owner, Paul, flat out REFUSED to install LVP flooring properly to the manufacturer instructions, which will VOID your warranty. He'll say it's weird or unneeded. Worse, he will not even measure to ensure your floor is flat, which is essential to keep it from cracking or popping later (research it, it's like the most basic step). At best, he'll verbally say his people can eyeball it and if it's not flat they'll just know instantly, but then will qualify that they have almost never flattened or leveled a floor as its unnecessary.

No matter what he SAYS, ask him to put it in writing and then you'll start to sort out truth from BS.

I noticed he put ZERO warranty language on his quote and when I followed up, he did not want to add any. And most egregiously, I let him talk me into cancelling my Home Depot order for a well-reviewed 5.5mm thick LVP with 20mil wear layer because his 8mm thickness with the same wear layer is SO SO much better. The restocking fees cost me $1700 before I figured out how sketchy he really is.

Regardless of how thick your floor is, you'll still have issues that may not show up for years if it's not installed properly, requiring you to pay to rip it up and redo it. Ask him to warranty that his improper installation techniques will not cause issues later and he'll refuse. Believe the 1-star reviews.

Recently had the carpet in my living room, dining room, hallways, and master bedroom removed and replaced with carpet. I spoke with and arranged everything with Paul himself, and he worked with me every step of the way. The installers came out to the house and got the job done ahead of schedule, excellent work, and handled themselves professionally. Very satisfied with the work, but more importantly the customer service. I would recommend Paul’s Carpet & Tile to anyone in the area.

Paul’s Carpet and Tile did an excellent job installing new luxury vinyl plank throughout my upstairs. I first visited the showroom and spoke with Paul. Paul was very helpful and answered all my questions. Paul scheduled a time to come to my house and take the measurements and I received the quote same day. When it came time to install the crew was very hardworking and did an excellent job with the installation. I highly recommend them!!
