Came in to see how I could carpet. Well I was led out the back door and told that’s where the free stuff is. I never purchased from a flooring store, so I thought buying samples were a things. Because how do I know if it will look good inside my home or with my paint. I went here despite what the reviews said
Great to work with a longtime locally owned business. They refinished existing hardwood and replaced upstairs carpet with matching hardwood. Super pleased with results, staff and price. Thanks Matt!
Joanna was a rockstar to work with. She saw our vision and picked out the perfect color. The whole team was super flexible and worked with us as our timelines had to be adjusted. The installers were equally as great! Nearly 1600 sq ft in one day - done and cleaned up! We had the best experience and can’t wait to use them again!
This was the WORST experience that I have ever had with a flooring/carpet company. I could not believe the way the Michael Kiser Sr. spoke to me on the phone when his installer and employee didn't do a job well and made assumptions as to how a runner should be made on site without contacting the designer. He proceeded to take zero responsibility and blamed me when the detail of how they installed it wasn't even acknowledged on the work order. I personally have never seen a banding that was meant to run down either side of a runner also run horizontally just on the top step either. After going in circles with his employee who was responsible for making all of these decisions, he later said the reason it was made like this was because he didn't have enough material to make it continuous so he just did it this way. The worst part is that for such a small portion of the large job, Mr. Kiser refused to order the replacement material even after his employee told the client that they would in writing. I would never recommend using this company. Zero respect for me as a client and design professional for over fifteen years. As a business owner I always acknowledge where I might have made a mistake but in this case I absolutely did nothing wrong nor did I ask the installer to not make a continuous runner on over a two million dollar home. Absolutely absurd and he should be ashamed for acting so childishly.
Save yourself a headache and some money, and shop elsewhere. These guys use contractors that do a horrible job and stand behind them. Check out the photos of our new kitchen floor. We purchased our floor intending to get "design strips" and were later told that they would have to upcharge for them. We opted out based on the sales rep's opinion. The contracted installer thought it was a good idea to try and salvage the shoe that they demolished (without asking/advising).They also took it upon themselves to lay tiles OVER the threshold to our exterior door. No one ever called for follow up. We had to complain and get the contractor back out to fix the shoe. Even after that, no one ever called to follow up. I had to call and ask the sales rep to come out and see the job. I guess HE FELT it looked AMAZING, because he was sweet as could be and sent us the same full price invoice that he sent several times before. This company does not care about your satisfaction, repeat business or opinion of their services. THEY ONLY WANT YOUR MONEY. To reiterate, Kiser uses contractors that arrive in unmarked vehicles who may or may not be able to communicate with you. When they're done, YOU PAY, no questions asked. Also MOVE YOUR OWN FURNITURE!!! I asked the sales rep AND the installer if I should move the furniture, and was told it will be no problem. Guess what... we were billed $50 to "move furniture". PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY & SHOP ELSEWHERE.
