The showroom is not bad but the guy who talked to us was nor engaged once we told him that we were looking for a future build.
Very disappointed. Our builder uses Out N About and therefore we had to use them for countertops and flooring. We met with Darren to do all of our picks, he was great. Not long after we moved in we had to replace some carpet and again Darren was very fast to respond and schedule us. Unfortunately after Darren left the customer service went downhill. 2 years after living here we had several areas of carpet that needed stretched. We called Out N About to see if they could help. They said our warranty was up therefore they could not help us and gave us a referral. I was very disappointed that they did not warranty there workmanship longer. There is no reason our carpet should need stretched after only 2 years. We called and hired the referral to come fix the areas. Now at 3 years we are having several more areas that need stretched. This is ridiculous that again we will have to pay someone else to stretch carpet that should have been done correctly the first time!
I am absolutely thrilled with the service I received from Randy and Out N About Flooring. When the hardwood and one of the tile selections I made for my home building project were no longer available, Randy went out of his way to help me make another choice. But, due to his great efforts, he was able to find a source and procure enough product to complete my home with the original selections. Randy and his team at Out N About made a stressful situation much better and I'd highly recommend their service to anyone purchasing carpeting or hard flooring.
Darrin is probably the worst estimator /sales person in the business. My wife and I got referred to him by our builder. We went in to their show room, picked out everything (we were spending about $30k). Keep in mind, we’re building a house. We have a budget and we wanted a couple of estimates. Well, this guy found out we were looking around and got upset that we did so. He said, “ If they want to go look somewhere else, then fine. But I don’t have the time for this.” He’s an estimator! That’s ALL he has time for. He was a jerk from then on. It took 3 months to get a quote. Would NEVER do business with these brothers again. Darrin didn’t care about his customers, just their money. I wouldn’t recommend him or his flooring company to my worst enemy. Horrible customer service. Probably the worst my wife and I have been treated by someone representing a business. DONT NOT BUY FROM OUT AND ABOUT. UNLESS YOU LIKE BEING TREATED LIKE DIRT!
