I've lived in Oak Harbor for almost 40 years and Wendy at Floors Plus is the first person, at any business in town, that took the time to listen to my project needs and initiative to request my name and phone number so she could follow up on my progress as she promised to do. I give her and Floors Plus 5-stars!!!!!
A lot of inventory and the people who work on the sales floor were helpful, but there is no care once you’ve ordered your carpet. We didn’t receive any sort of confirmation that install was happening on the date we had set, and the install went poorly. A moderate sized hole was placed in our wall and we were assured that it would be fixed properly. The drywall was repaired with promises to return the next day to repaint but that never happened, which was frustrating. Mistakes happen - but when you pay thousands of dollars you have expectations that they will be fixed. I wouldn’t recommend using this company based on our experience
Had both tile and carpet installed. One day of tile installation for laundry room was a no show, no call. Then it was going to take weeks before an installer could return. That obviously was not going to work so they did find someone to complete the job.For the price of a 25 year carpet, I wish I had just purchased from a big box store. My fault...thought I would rather pay a bit more for better customer service. I was wrong.
The team at Floors Plus is not only super friendly but goes above and beyond to help find you the absolute best product to fit your needs and cost out even the most challenging of projects. Their pricing is extremely reasonable as well. We plan to use them for all our future flooring, cabinet and counter top needs.
After calling and going into the competitors box store for price quotes and information regarding flooring for my home, it was time to buy.I pulled into the parking lot and sat there knowing I didn’t not want to buy from them. I was so disappointed with their lack of knowledge, lack of interest in assisting and giving me a clear cost breakdown.I knew we had a local flooring store in town, i just hadn’t thought to call them before. Well, I’m so glad I did.Denny took my call, suggested I come on down and see what his store had to offer. From that first point of contact my experience was outstanding. Denny listened to my needs, showed me exactly the flooring I was looking for , the quality far exceeded the box store and the quote was just a few hundred more. Well worth every penny.Somethings should not be purchased at big box stores, quality over quantity. Save yourself the headache and shop local.
