Been working with Rayo for over 16 years. They are the best. Rayo is for contractors. The bad reviews are from homeowners. This is not a retail store, this is a supply house for contractors. If you are a homeowner then do not go there.
Fantastic everything. The neighbor gave us the referral and are we glad. Patrick was incredibly knowledgeable, and their designer Joanna was super creative and helpful. The selection of product is huge and we had professional guidance all the way. Our install starts today. More soon.
Very umprofessional. I am a homeowner. My installer and mohawk's website provided their information for a place to see the product. From the minute I walked into the store I didn't feel welcome. Rude lady (older), grumpy and not professional kept telling me they didn't sell to homeowners (like if I didn't understand), she kept repeating her self like a broken recorder. We are still buying from you inderectly thru our installer and homeowners still need to be treated profesionally. If installers don't buy from you because of homeonwers (not buying) you wouldn't have a store. Treat people right and appreciate everyone that walks into your store.I called today to find out if they have Ultrawood Select line from Mohawk, she hang up on me. I am installing 4,000 feet of this flooring, but now is your lost of business and money coming into your store. My installer will definetly not buy from you.
Completely unprofessional! I would give it no stars if it were an option.I called HQ before going to this local store. I was given attitude and was completely written after they saw my skin color. They told me they would not sell me.I called HQ to confirm WHILE in the store. The older lady who wrote us off was screaming in the background "WHO ARE YOU TALKING TO?"While waiting on hold for the person at HQ to get the manager, two other ladies walked in. Immediately I noticed1# They did not get the attitude I got.2# They weren't asked nearly as many questions regarding who their contractor or installer was3# They were clearly not contractors but weren't turned awayAfter waiting for a few minutes, the manager from HQ gets on the phone and explains that, yes they are wholesale to the trade. I was told all I needed to have was a contractor or installer and if I didn't have one they could help me find one.Well this was not the sentiment I got from the local store. After telling them the details of the conversation I had with HQ, I was asked a series of questions about my installer and even had to call him on the phone.(Mind you, the two women who walked in after me weren't asked these same questions or given the same level of scrutiny.)After still refusing to help me, I called HQ again. While in the store, I told them that the way I was being treated felt very much like racial discrimination because there was literally no other reason to turn me away at that point. As I am making the complaint to HQ I walked out the door. They asked the name of who I spoke to and when I walked back in and asked the gentlemen his name I was told to leave. WHILE ON THE PHONE WITH HQ.The manager from HQ apologized and said he would call the store to get to the bottom of it. A few minutes later an angry man jumps on the with a very confrontational tone asking "What I wanted" and "my call was transferred to him".At this point I was so disgusted and distraught from the experience I decided to just pursue a remedy for this situation through all other available channels as they definitely didn't want to resolve it themselves.DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE! THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE CLOSED
Our contractor sent us here to pick out flooring samples. Kim was very helpful and gave us advice on what specs we should be looking for in LVPs. Big store, organized and clean. Parking was easy.
