Unfortunate circumstances resulted me having to do some flooring renovations in my condo.I was referred this company Floors Direct North for contract work .We had a consultation which 2 people were present in picking out the colour of the flooring to somewhat match the damaged floors. We picked a dark charcoal colour as seen in the picture to have some contrast with the brown cabinets. We had mentioned multiple times that we wanted dark floors.We trusted this individual Ben which was the owner of the company.We were presented a contract agreement which we signed IN TRUST they wrote down all the information which was VERBALLY discussed and samples were picked visually.Ben wrote down the wrong colour and shade . We did not find out until the job was completed . Due to the fact we put our trust in someone knowing how to write down the proper colour and code ( which obviously did not happen ) now has resulted in a very dissatisfied and upset customer .In the pictures, we chose the 4th plank which is the dark one. And the other picture is what they installed.

It only took a couple of visits to the friendly, knowledgeable and patient team of Jeanie and Elena to decide on our choice of premium vinyl flooring. The flooring was delivered on time and the installation occurred at the appropriate point in the overall project plan. I was shovelling snow from the driveway when the installers arrived and they even offered to take over the snow removal. The installation was completed very professionally, in two days, over our entire ground floor. We are very satisfied with the look, feel and colour of our new flooring. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Floors Direct North.
In Brief, Ben and his peoples are great at what they do! Years ago Ben consulted with us and installed our hardwood floor on the main level to incredible effect! That being a perfect experience led us back to him for a repurposed stairway and new wool carpeting on our upper level.
