Madeira Stone

As new resident to Penticton, we decided to refurbish the house we bought. The main job was to replace our kitchen. For the counter we did business with Madeira Stone, we recommend them totally. They really know their job: from the kitchen maker plan, they gave us quotes with options. Once the cabinets were in place, they came to take the final precise measurments for the choosen option. The week after, they came back to make the install. We were very surprised by the professionalism and the rapidity of the istall. We met Stephanie at the Penticton home show. She was informative answered all our questions, and was really nice. The time from the measurements in our home to installation was quick and the exact days they predicted. Install guy’s were super efficient and again, really nice. We would totally recommend Madeira.

Had the good fortune to meet Stephanie at the Home Show when we started our hunt for quartz counters. We had spoken to a couple of places but when we visited their show room, we felt we were being listened to and that they were able to work with our budget. They made a few suggestions and problem solved the colour palette I was going for. The job was done in a timely fashion and all I can say is, we are extremely pleased with everything. My wife and I were in the process of upgrading our fairly large kitchen countertops. We checked a number of local options but really weren’t satisfied with the lack of clarity of options from them. They tended to want to give us what we thought we wanted as opposed to what options would be best suited for our needs. Then we meet with Steph and Doug from Madeira Stone. - great breath of fresh air. Not only did they offer a great history of quality work but they had the courage to make suggestions that were most appreciated at the end of the project. One example was backsplash. I wanted to keep the small tile backsplash that I installed (it was okay but, I’m not an installer). When I accepted the inevitable, I wanted to remove the tiles and save the drywall. Some appropriate and clear discussions with Steph and Doug brought me around and the old drywall and tile was cut out. Now it was all on Doug’s shoulders to template and install. Everything was seamless (pun intended ??), complicated cuts and a good number of power outlets went together perfectly. At the end of the project and now almost a year later we are still left with a feeling of total satisfaction. Our kitchen is upgraded, bright and way more modern. In short, if you have the desire for quality work and honest and sincere support go to Madeira Stone. The appreciation of quality work lasts longer than the few extra dollars it might cost to get it.
