Ike Hatchett Floor Finishing

Dan and his team did an absolutely incredible job refinishing the hardwood floors in the bedrooms in our home. They were prompt with scheduling, thoroughly explained the whole process, and were able to customize a stain that was perfect for what we had in mind. We appreciate how much they communicated with us during the job as well. Highly, highly recommend!

Dan and team from Ike Hatchett flooring did an amazing job refinishing all of the hardwood in our home. It had been damaged by a local cleaning company, and Dan was able to repair the damage and give us a beautiful new floor. His kindness and professionalism are top notch and I have been recommending his firm to everyone I know. Thanks for the amazing experience!

The tradition continues... Ike's daughter Amanda & son-in-law, Dan, have met & exceeded the expectations created & fulfilled by Ike. Really and truly a solid & first-rate family business that doesn't rush quality. We had 100-year-old floors that were added to with new planks that were custom-milled in the "period" in width/size & we had some floor that was restored. The first vendor didn't hit the mark, so we called in Dan. First of all, he was extremely educational, quite affable & pleasant to deal with (read: super informative but copacetic). He explained everything, did a color match, nailed it (by the way), and responded to every concern a snake-bitten homeowner would have, with ease. A joy to work and someone you'd wanna call a friend. The quality of the work, the finished floor's look & feel and the attention to detail were second to none. They cleaned up after themselves meticulously and really took the extra time (doubly so) to make sure each detail was attended to in the proper manner. I am picky and hard to satisfy, but Dan (and Amanda) outclassed our every expectation and gave us the floor we originally envisioned. A job exquisitely done. Kudos to you both, and thank you for restoring our trust in home-renovation contractors. I supremely recommend them. You will pleased and super ecstatic with the result. The price was also fair and more than worth it.

Ike Hatchett Floors did such a wonderful job redoing my living room floor that now I’m having them do the 3 bedrooms and hallway. They do a great job and it holds up!!! My living room floor looks like they just redid it yesterday but it’s been 4 or 5 years! They are great personable yet professional people. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone wanting to have their old wood floors turned to beautiful floors they will be proud of. Thank you to all of you at Ike Hatchett Floors!!!!!

Each time I clean my floors I become frustrated because they were so poorly refinished. I decided to see if a website for Ike Hatchett Floor Finishing was available. We had our wooden floors refinished by Mr. Hatchett while we were out of town. Upon return, we noted many light places where it appeared to have been missed when the finish was applied. Mr. Hatchett came to address our issues and agreed that the floors did not meet his standards. He agreed to to redo the floors while we were at our summer cabin. Again, we noted light areas and an abrupt line by the door where they had not finished properly. We contacted Mr. Hatchett who said he would stop by our house but we did not hear from him again! I have attached photos showing some (not all) of the areas mentioned.
