Best Hardwood Flooring & Tile

Best Hardwood flooring updated our wood floors in our Living room, Kitchen, Family room and stairs. They sanded the old finish on our oak floors then stained and varnished to a beautiful finish. They also updated our entry and laundry room with new tile. They removed our old tile and added a porcelain tile we chose at their store. They are truly master crafters and professional in every aspect from start to finish. This was our second project with Best Hardwood Flooring and we are as pleased with this latest project as the first.

What a great experience, start to finish. Jessica was super helpful in selecting our flooring type (both wood and carpet that can withstand dog traffic) and getting us scheduled for demo, delivery, and installation within an incredibly tight timeframe. We were really impressed with the attention to detail of our wood installers (Delfino and Antonio), who had multiple issues to contend with, such as as stairs that were bowed and unusual transitions to stone flooring. Our carpet installer, Luis, worked around the wood installation to fit our tight schedule and was done in less than a day. And the price was right! Loved being able to get it all in one place, with discounts to boot. I'd highly recommend Best Hardwood!

Rosa was my contact in the office, she was patient, helpful, professional and very knowledgeable. She listened to me, what I didn’t want vs what direction I wanted to go. She came to my house twice to help visualize my ideas and gave input. I went through their great showroom a couple of times with Rosa. Rosa let me take showroom samples home and ordered me full size samples on the choice I was leaning towards with no cost to me. Epifanio installed our porcelain floors in bathrooms and laundry room. He was friendly and professional. He did a wonderful job. Hard worker and great tile installer. Cesar is the owner of the company (aka estimator). Very modest IMHO. He came out to our home twice before I knew he was the owner. He helped me understand my solution options re doorframes and moulding etc because my existing flooring was a different height. Professional, kind and great sense of humor. He set my mind at ease with my decision and he was right. Martin and Pedro installed our engineered wood flooring throughout the rest of the house. They did a great job. They were both very friendly, professional and did great work. This was a huge job. We did half of the house, then the other half. I packed up everything in boxes for days and then moved them to one side of the house, and they moved the heavy furniture, then repeat to the other side of the house. Everything went smoothly. They also installed new baseboards throughout the house. The company doesn’t fill nail holes, caulk or paint but they advised me of this ahead of time. Martin and Pedro are also very hard workers. They work together so well. Pedro did a great job installing hardware to our crawlspace doors/access in our closets. I purchased the hardware and he installed for me. Martin did a great job with the transitions wood to porcelain, Pedro may have done some as well. Very happy with our wood floors. These guys know how to install very well. I don’t have the names of the guys that did our demo on existing floors but will say they worked their butts off because we originally had slate flooring throughout the house and was a bear to demo. Kudos to them. It was a pleasure working with this company and Ross, Cesar, Pedro, Martin, and Epifanio. Highly recommend.

We live in Truckee and had Best Hardwood Flooring replace the carpet in our home with an engineered wood floor last year. They had the best price on materials and labor and they did a fantastic job with the installation. The sales team was super patient with me, drafting up new quotes for several materials as I continuously changed my mind. Angel worked hard to finish the job on time, and I could tell he took pride in his work to make the floors and transitions look as good as possible. Communication around scheduling was great too. They came to install the flooring a week or two after delivery, but the wood hadn't finished acclimatizing. They rescheduled the installation for a later date without any trouble. If I ever need to do another flooring project in my house they will be the first and only people I call. Best Hardwood Flooring truly is the best!
