My wife and I finally decided to upgrade our floors in our kitchen, dining room, living room and our home office. We got samples from various DIY stores in our area, but it was very difficult to imagine what these small pieces would look like across MOST of our house. My wife got an email from LL Flooring that described using their “Picture It – Floor Visualizer”. It was so easy to visit their website from our phones to 1. Select a flooring material we liked 2. Upload a photo of our room (or in our case – rooms) and 3. virtually “see” what it might look like! We had such fun trying out all the rigid vinyl flooring they had to choose from and were able to narrow it down to four choices. We then dropped by our local LL Flooring store on the weekend to get samples – and were so grateful to have been helped by Mattthew. He answered ALL our questions, and my wife can tell you - I have a ton of questions. He was so knowledgeable, professional, and patient.
We took Matthew’s suggestion and agreed to a no commitment professional measurement, and quote. Jora the installation director came to our house on time, answered MORE of my questions, and in about 20 minutes had all the measurements he needed. He gave me his cell number so if I thought of any other questions – I could reach him.
A day or two later, Matthew gave us a call to come by to review our quote. He was again very patient with us, helped us understand some of the other choices to be made with new flooring – like if you’re installing new baseboards. He carefully went over each detailed line-item in our quote and even color-coded items to describe their shipping dates.
Just as he had promised our flooring materials started to arrive at our house. The delivery driver was quick and careful when placing our boxes of flooring (35 boxes!) and baseboards, etc. where my wife directed him to. Other trim pieces arrived in a few shipments as promised as well.
So, we had our materials ready, they were acclimated to temperature and humidity, all we needed was for them to be installed. The morning of our scheduled install - Jora arrived on time followed by his foreman Andreas and his team of three craftsman. We had a chance to review each room together, pointing out any details the crew needed to be aware of. And then the transformation began. Tile demoed from our kitchen and dining room seemed to disappear, old laminate flooring and old carpet also began to vanish. And the new Marigold Elm flooring started to appear. It was amazing to watch this crew use their teamwork and strengths to attack this renovation project. Such exacting tolerances on the flooring and mitered cuts on the baseboards, not to mention smooth caulking lines everywhere. Exceptional craftsmanship. What was to have been a three-day job – was done in a day and half!
My wife and I couldn’t be happier with how our new floors look. They’ve really elevated our living space in a way we didn’t imagine.

Beautiful flooring selection and samples. Great advertised prices to draw you in to their store are very appealing. But once you have made your selection and they give you a quote....... of the labor to install etc... the qoute for materials more than doubled. Every where else I shopped labor was $900 -$1700. And they quoted $4,500. So material and labor came to around $9,500 for just under 900 sq ft. My sister went with to get flooring as well her quote as well was just as high. The most expensive anywhere.

I do not recommend this place and will not use them again. Good selection and decent prices mean nothing if your customer service is horrible.

Three different companies installed three different types of flooring in our new house.... the other two companies I used asked where we were getting the wood from and they BOTH literally shook their heads when I told them I went to Lumber Liquidators in Santa Clarita to buy my wood. I figured they were just trying to get me to use them. But now I see what they meant.

I bought bamboo flooring from here to install in the entire downstairs area... 60 boxes of wood, roughly $5,000.00 worth. We were given different amounts of time to let the wood acclimate before installing.... we were told at least 3 weeks..., 3-4 weeks preferably to be safe because it was a really thick wood. The staff told us stories of how people don't let the wood acclimate properly and then they have problems, to which Lumber Liquidators can't help because they didn't follow the proper acclimation instructions. So we let ours sit for 4 weeks.... had it installed, which took a week or so to complete. We were encouraged by salesman Irving Castillo to order at least 10% extra to make sure we had enough because we could return the amount not used. Of the 60 boxes ordered, we ended up with 4 unused boxes of wood to return. 4 boxes! $300 worth!!!! I went to return them and Irving told me they couldn't accept the return because we were past the 30 day return window. WHAT? Him nor any of them said anything at any point about a 30 day return window. He then points to the small print in the paperwork and with an attitude says "Hey... it's says it right there in black & white". I said "How are we supposed to make a 30 day return window when you recommend that the wood acclimate for 30 day?" He said sorry... nothing he could do. I asked to speak to his manager. He told me the manager was supposed to be in an hour ago but wasn't in yet. I asked if he could call the manager to find out what time he would be in.... Irving told me that he didn't have his manager's number because he lost his cell phone with the number in it. Apparently... the manager's phone number isn't written down anywhere in that entire place, or so he would have me to believe. Irving told me that he would have the manager call me as soon as he got in. Three hours later and still no call.

At that point I just called the corporate office and dealt with them. They were easy to deal with and refunded me the $300 within a few days with no problems.

Bad customer service. I don't have time for BS games... and I don't appreciate the attitude when I tried to return 4 out of 60 boxes of wood.. I don't know if I'll ever use Lumber Liquidators again, probably not, but if I do.... I will not go to this location again. I recommend using someone else... or at the very least... drive to another LL location.
