Had carpet installed with United through Costco program. The estimators tried to change my mind on what I wanted done with carpet vs existing flooring. The carpet provided wasn’t as firm as the sample shown. After the carpet order was placed, we decided to keep one room with existing flooring and the company wouldn’t credit or refund the carpet that was no longer needed. Installers were good but didn’t show much consideration during the install (banged a doorknob into the wall that left a dent). We had to request them to add the transition strips where needed which they reluctantly did. Overall, not very pleased with the service.

I was connected with United Floor Coverings through Costco. I first had my carpets done and was very happy with the results so I hired them again when I needed the floors in a small spare bathroom replaced. Theresa and Brad came out first and helped me pick flooring and gave an estimate. They are knowledgeable and very friendly. Theresa is very responsive and always takes the time to answer questions and alleviate any concerns. Jaime and Rafael did the installation. It should have been a quick straightforward job, but unfortunately unbeknownst to us the homeowners that had remodeled the bathroom previously drove a nail through the pipe that leads to our toilet. Upon Jaime removing the baseboard that had the nail in it, a leak started. It felt catastrophic as I had water running down to my basement, and I was panicking trying to find a plumber that could come out right away. Jaime went above and beyond. He contacted the owner of United Floor Covering, John, who then immediately reached out to a plumber he knows. Within one hour, I had a plumber at my house, he fixed the pipe, then Jaime and Rafael got back to work and finished the floors that day. John even stopped by to check on everything. I did not think that kind of customer service existed anymore. I am beyond grateful to John for being so responsive and going above and beyond for me. This was a small job, and he still went out of his way to help me. Jaime and Rafael do exceptional work, and they even helped me find the humor in the house of horrors situation I found myself in. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

After our initial contact with them, they were on site in less than a week, provided great options for carpet and LVP and were always responsive when we contacted them. Marcus Flores helped us find the perfect carpet and since we were out of state spent the time to make sure everything was done right. He sent me pictures of all the updates and kept me in the loop. They have become the only flooring place I will work with moving forward because of how easy it was to work with them during our basement remodel.
