Sam helped me purchase flooring for my place and made the whole process super easy. I previously had creaky and lifting flooring, and both Canadian Tire and another shop couldn’t really help, they were recommending products that likely would’ve led to the same issue again.

Sam took the time to explain the different options, pricing, and what would work best for my space. You can tell he knows his stuff and genuinely cares about helping people make the right choice. Carlo was fantastic in helping us find the products to achieve the vision we had for our ADU.

We absolutely LOVE our luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout, and his installers were so fast! Not just fast — their installation was meticulous!

And their tile work… don’t even get me started. It’s SPECTACULAR!

Let me start by saying that I hate grout and wasn’t even going to use tile in our bathroom due to past experiences. Carlo assured us they only use the best installers and that they have specialists for each type of job. He certainly didn’t lie — his guys were awesome!

EVERYONE who comes in (including some incredibly picky family members who have used very good tilers in their own homes) is blown away by the work. Our kitchen backsplash gets constant rave reviews, and our bathroom looks so luxurious with the large tiles and the decadently sized niche for such a small apartment (thanks for humoring me on that one). ??

Thank you for restoring our faith in flooring and tile installers… and for making our little space look so lux!

The decision to go with a luxury vinyl floor, as opposed to the hardwood or engineered hardwood, that we have always installed in our homes was a difficult one. We did our own research before reaching out to Andre' Moreau at Emporium Carpet & Flooring and believed the vinyl would be a more pet tolerant choice. We had pretty much decided on a manufacturer's product, but still had a myriad of technical questions and wanted to confirm that our assumptions were correct. Fortunately, Andre' had the experience, product knowledge and patience needed to walk us through all of it. From our. own research, we had selected Coretec Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring; not everyone carries this product. Andre' assured us that this flooring would withstand the test of time, had an amazing warranty and that it would not be destroyed by our rambunctious Labradoodle. We had settled on a colour, however Andre' insisted that we take samples home to ensure we were completely satisfied with our selection. He showed us options and also shared about how vent-covers could be integrated into the flooring. He asked about steps in the house and, although a bungalow, there is a step down from the main level to the basement stairs. He showed us options for dealing with that. Andre' made every effort to ensure we were fully informed and all of our bases were covered.
Once we selected the Coretec Luxury Vinyl in the Sand Dollar colour, we went back to Andre' to place our order. Andre' shared that Emporium have people who can put the flooring in for us, however we had a general contractor managing a number of jobs for us. In light of the performance of our general contractor, we should have let Andre' arrange the installation for us, but that's another subject.
Andre' ensured the flooring was ready for pick-up when we took possession of the house, and even helped us with finding someone to pick-up and deliver it for us. Andre' checked in with us to ensure that everything was going according to plan and ordered an additional box when our contractor informed us, the night before moving in, that he was short one box. Andre' got that box within two days so, we have to say, he is truly a genuine support in a multitude of ways, for those who deal with him.
The other members of the Emporium Team were there if we had questions when Andre' was tied up, and they're all super knowledgeable. Even so, when Andre' knew we had called or been in the store, he followed up with us. He is a huge credit to Emporium and we absolutely recommend Andre' and Emporium, if you need expertise with regard to flooring. You can be assured that you will find a wealth of expertise and a thoughtful team at Emporium! Thanks so much, Andre'!

I had Emporium Flooring install luxury vinyl planks at my cottage, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Carlo and Ted in the showroom were wonderful to deal with — knowledgeable, patient, and full of great suggestions on product options. The installation team, a father-and-sons trio (Barry, Ben, and Rex), did an outstanding job. They carefully removed the old laminate and trim, installed the new flooring, and reattached my trim — all in one day. Their attention to detail was exceptional; the cuts around the fireplace, stairs, and walls were absolute perfection. They were also friendly, professional, and left everything spotless. I highly recommend Emporium Flooring and their amazing team!
