Recent reviews often highlight helpful showroom staff, clear guidance on choosing materials, and courteous installers. Positive feedback mentions punctuality and care during carpet and wood floor installations. There are also critical reviews noting communication delays and issues with follow-up on problem jobs. Overall sentiment trends positive, but experiences vary by project and timing.

A heartfelt thank you to Janet and the whole team at Brodrecht's Flooring. While I was shopping for flooring for a friend who has special needs, Janet guided me through my options and helped me arrive at the best flooring choice for my friend. He now has beautiful kitchen and bathroom flooring and we are all very happy with the quality and cheerful service we received. Thank you so very much! Patti
The best! Five stars all around! We've built a few homes for ourselves over the years and always come here for our flooring, bathroom tiles and more! Fantastic selection of all flooring, floor and wall tiles, carpet, laminate, hardwoods or luxury vinyl planks, everything you could ever need! Great showroom and amazing staff! Very helpful and knowledgeable. We highly recommend it!
An insurance claim that resulted from water damage in the kitchen 8 months ago has finally come to an end. Most of this delay was due to Brodrecht's sloppy workmanship and refusal to come back to fix their mistakes (although supply issues played a small part, or so we were told). There were many delays because the company would not respond to emails or phone calls from the restoration company that handled the repairs. The subcontractors who do much of Brodrecht's work were unevenly skilled, sometimes using caulk to fill in miscut tiles instead of re-cutting them right. They even caulked between tiles and carpet! That's unheard of, not to mention ugly. The absolute worst outcome is shown in the photo of how they left the tiles next to the kitchen cupboard and stove. Such an unprofessional job! And it was left that way for months while they tried to shift the blame to the restoration company.Perhaps they do better work if it's not an insurance claim, although an extra room here was at our own expense. I could never recommend Brodrecht's.
I had the product Palladiana (connecting rock) (silva and perla grey mosaic) installed in my shower in November 2017 after picking it out with Brodrecht's sales staff assistance. After four months I noticed that the slate in the product was flaking and eroding (only the slate). I was informed that the product needed to be sealed and promptly checked with the contractor who installed the tile. It had not been sealed and we had cleaned the shower floor with a bucket of water and little vinegar. At no time would Brodrecht's staff come to inspect the tile. I was given the manufacturers contact information. In the past two years the manufacturer has not replied to my requests.I have now dried and sealed the shower floor at least 5 times (every 3 months) and it continues to degrade. In my research and discussion with contractors I have been given the following:Natural stone, especially slate and any other textured materials should not be considered for wet areas such as a shower. I don't care how many coats of sealer you apply to it, it will flake and crumble. Some stone tiles, including slate, have shown themselves to be absolutely the worst choice for use in a shower stall because of pin holes, flakes, porosity, or structure. After less than a year or two the stone would not look very good; slate crumbles and wears very poorly particularly in the shower where acidic soaps wash over the tile.It reacts to certain chemicals in soaps and shampoo that can pit and get under the layers. Also, moisture can get under the thin layers and make it flake up and peel.Based on my experience the past two years I do not believe that Brodrecht's staff are knowledgeable on the products they sell nor do they provide any customer service. At no time did my contact at Brodrechts' offer to come to my home and inspect the tile. While they were highly recommended to me by a client of mine I would not recommend them to my family or friends. Not worth the one star required for this post.Note, that I informed my contact I was not happy and would post this review but was told there was nothing they could do and there was again no offer to visit my home to inspect the tile. The following is my response to Brodrecht's.You need to read my review again. I shared my experience over the past two years and at no time laid fault with anyone. I was honest and kept to the facts. I do say in my review that "based on my experience the past two years I do not believe that Brodrecht's staff are knowledgeable on the products they sell nor do they provide any customer service". I have been trying to get someone out to look at the tile and offer some advice, ideas, solutions, etc. I called you, the place I bought the tile. The place that should have the knowledgeable staff and experience to help me solve the problem. In two years all I have received is "it is not our fault". At no time did you offer any advice, ideas, solutions or direction. If I had gotten some assistance two years ago, maybe two stones flaking would not have turned in to half the floor now. Customer service is what should separate Brodrecht's from the big box or the guy selling from the back of his pick-up. I get that you do not want to take any responsibility or replace my floor but could you not have at least tried to help solve the problem. I did not buy the flooring from Brodrecht's because they were cheaper than the big box. I bought for the expertise and service. At least I thought I would get that.Updated March 2019After driving behind a Brodrecht's Flooring van and seeing their slogan it prompted me to attach an up to date photo of the shower floor tile. After two years of sealing every two months the slate continues to flake and degrade. No support from Brodrecht's. Will likely need to rip out the tile and replace in the coming year.
