I had a repairman come by today to evaluate my garage door. It was shaking and rattling a lot while in operation. And one of the cross beams came lose from all the vibration. The door is around 40 years old so I figured it had reached it's end and I was looking at a $2K+ bill for a new one.The repairman took a quick look, then said there's a few missing bolts and the guide wheels are bent and shot. He had all the necessary parts with him and hour later he replaced all the damaged parts and added a couple bolts for additional support. Then he realigned a bent cross beam and re-bolted it. Previous to the repair, opening and closing the door sounded like an earthquake. After the repair, the door runs smooth as silk. Oh, I almost forgot to mention the cost: less than $200!!!!!
George, the technician, and Michael were prompt and professional. George showed me the spring that was the problem, and explained what he would do and my options. He and Michael completed the repair in what seemed like a very timely manner. George was friendly and very polite, and it was a pleasure working with him.
This company provides excellent, honest , professional and friendly service. I highly recommend them. Where other companies claimed that it was necessary to buy an entirely new garage door, ABC Door told me I could easily order a new panel and install it for a fraction of the cost. The service was excellent and the installation (Jorge) was impeccable. I highly recommend them.
This review is not about their work I have not hired them for anything but it's about how we being treated after their employee hit us in a 3 car pile up which was recorded on their dash cam. After months of waiting for them to reach out, I had to do it myself, when I called, the person I spoke with said he didn't know 3 cars were involved n dismissed me to his agent didn't ask if we were ok or anything. Their agent fixed our bumper but has been avoiding us ever since even tho he acknowledged there was other parts of our claim to compensate us for not even trying to get over on them just wanted what was right. Now can't get a hold of them won't return calls or emails.... so don't get in accident with them, their insurance... Selective insurance... well make it hard on you
