Great experience! I had an issue with the rubber seal on the bottom of my garage door. Since I hadn’t had anyone (other than the general inspector for the purchase of my house) look at the opener in the 4 years I’ve owned the house. The person who bought the house new in the 1970’s sold it to me when she moved in with her son. So I knew an inspection was needed. Scott is a true professional and gentleman. You can just tell he has been doing this for a long time and knows all of the ins and outs of things. He found some structural issues that he showed me and fixed with steel bracing. He gave me a new track and rubber seal that spans the entire door (previously there were two separate sections), and the track was a more durable one that screwed in to the back of the door (previously screwed up into the bottom of the door where there wasn’t much structural support). And before he left he asked if I had the garage opener app on my phone (mine was Bluetooth compatible, but I didn’t know that). He walked me through installing the app on my phone and connecting it. I can now tell if the garage door is open or closed, and how long it’s been that way, just by looking at my phone from anywhere. And I can make it open or close from my phone too. What incredible service! Scott is a great guy, and his son is working with him now. I highly recommend Abbey Door!
Scott and his crew did an amazing job on out 1935 garage. Looks new. Great craftsmanship and excellent communication throughout the process.
Abbey Door is GREAT! I had a broken spring last night and new springs this afternoon! PLUS, they did door maintenance (tightening, adjusting, lubrication, etc) as part of the service. Very professional and I'm a very pleased customer! Highly recommended!
