UPDATE: After giving Performance Building only 1 star due to the below circumstances, I've upgraded them to 4 stars. Not long after I posted the first review, they called me to say they were trying to find out more information from the plant but they found a door in their warehouse that I agreed with. They even offered some compensation for the delay and mix up. They came the next day and installed it. The two gentlemen that installed it were very friendly and professional. Wendy in the office was very apologetic and communicated clearly with me on what they could do to fix the situation. I'm just thrilled to have my new door and be able to once again park my car in the garage! Thank you Performance Building.Old review :Poor communication .I ordered a garage door in June and I was told 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. My old one broke and I could no longer open it. At 4 weeks I called to check on the door. I left messages and no one returned my call. At 6 weeks I finally got someone on the phone and she said they were unloading the truck as we spoke and she would call me back. She did not call me back. I called again and after being put on hold for a lengthy time, another employee told me there was a mix up at the plant and she would let me know. Again, no return call. I called and finally was told the plant made a mistake and the door would not be available until September.This is a standard white door with windows, nothing fancy.Performance Building is not taking any responsibility for this, they are putting all the blame on the plant and Wendy in the office went so far to even question me when I expressed frustration over not having the use of my garage all summer.They were more then happy to communicate with me when it came to taking my money, but then zilch from them. They have offered no compensation, just an oh well, these things happen and it's beyond their control.
When the house was built they installed the door and opener. All was good until I damaged the door. Contacted PBP for a quote for repair, they asked for information to be emailed to them then they would send me a quote.A week later I reach out asking when I could expect the repair quote. Their response "Were extremely busy, we'll get something to when we can". A month later no response....Called someone else, they were out the same day, provided a quote the same day.... These guys apparently only want to cater to the builders and not home owners.
My garage door springs blew up. Called up Performance and Tiffany took care of me instantly. Had 2 techs come out the same day, access my situation, and got my door lowered. Had to order springs, but withing one day it was fixed, at a fair price. I'd highly recommend their services. Techs where courteous, professional, and friendly.
INCREDIBLE! They did amazing work! They worked quickly and cleanly. They were very communicative. The new garage door is SO smooth and easy to use now. Very happy. Not only that, but due to personal reasons I had to reschedule 2x and they never complained and were very responsive. They also came out to my house to look over the installation before hand to make the process very easy. Highly Recommend!
