About 4 years ago they installed the doors in our new house. The wood mount holding spring bracket cracked casing it to rip the lag bolts out of the mounting bracket. Looks like the builders had just tacked a scrap peice of wood in place before they installed the door. I called them the next morning and explained the situation. Since they installed it in the first place they offered to fix it for just time and materials which was resonable. They responded right away and sent someone over in a matter of hours. The young man they sent was increadibly polite and worked fast. He installed a new mount board, restrung the wires, and retensioned the spring. The doors had always been a bit noisy and creaky on the rails. After it was done it glided like silk. Super quiet. He even reattache my bracket to my opener that I had removed and put on a side table. He left the whole door betrer shape than when he arrived! The only negative was the lubrication he used was POTENT and kind of gassed me out in my basement office until I opened the both garage doors for several hours. Not a big deal as whatever he used had amazing results. I would call them again in a heartbeat
Just had doors installed today and the guy who installed the doors was very unprofessional. He argued with my 82 year old mother-in-law, would not let her speak and would talk over her when she did try to speak. I have pictures of the door latch that is crooked badly and did not put a handle on the bottom of the door so we could open it. I am very disappointed that I wasn’t here but for a company that has been around for as long as this company has they would have employees that are professional and this guy wasn’t. His name Chaman and I will definitely be at his place of employment tomorrow. When you spend that much money on garage doors you would expect kind and courteous work.
Very quick response for service and ended up getting a new door and opener. Top notch customer service - Install was scheduled within 24 hours. The technicians were professional and easy to work with. Highly recommend Builders Overhead.
Highly recommend if you're in the market for garage doors. They supplied me a garage door and labor to install that was very competitive with big box pricing. I had done my research so when I called them it was an easy transaction. Doors arrived in time and they came back promptly without hesitation to address a minor issue with the weather stripping on my large door and went ahead and checked the other door. Will use again and recommend them to all my neighbors.
I purchased a brand new home in 2020, in that time, my garage door broken twice. I understand not maintaining a door and then it breaking over years of wear and tear, but twice in a year and half?? I called to have it scheduled for repair, and was told a technician be out tomorrow to fix, so I changed my plans and stayed home to wait for the technician, I missed a call from Overhead, called back within 30 minutes, and he said he had to "send his technician on to another job" because he didn't hear back from me and I wasn't in a convenient area for them. Extremely Poor customer service and apparently their installation and product is poor to have failed twice in a year and half time. I am a Reece Nichols agent and I definitely won't be referring or recommending this company to any of my clients or to other agents.
