Shawn was excellent. He was even early to the appointment which worked out perfectly for me. He made a recommendation to replace the door rollers and I can barely hear my garage door go up and down now. It's awesome. I took a chance on a Groupon and I'm happy I did. Diagnosed a very simple problem that caused a whole lot of issues on my end. Very fair in their pricing. Quick to respond. Took the time to explain the issue to me. I will call them whenever I need a repair and when I'm ready to change out my opener.
We've used Academy Over Head Door and have always been pleased. Josh came out today and worked on three different doors. He was prompt, polite and very professional. He explained the issues and gave me some options. He completed the work in a very timely manner and again, was super polite and professional. We will definitely call him again.
I had two garage door openers replaced and the service I received was more than I expected. Shawn replaced the openers quickly and made sure everything was properly working and I was completely satisfied with the installation before he left. I was really impressed with his attention to detail and professional manner in doing his job. My whole experience with Academy Over Head Door, from my first phone call to completion of the job, was top notch. Their pricing was the best I found. I was not disappointed with them in anyway. I highly recommend them.
Discovered Academy Overhead Door with Google search. Read customer reviews, and ordered service. My garage torsion springs were broken as well as several other track related items. The dispatch was nice and courteous. Time was arranged. Received an immediate call for an earlier reschedule (which I was pleased to get the work completed sooner). Shaun arrived with assistant, Matt. Both were respectful and knowledgeable. Work completed in 90 minutes. Price was itemized and fair. Very satisfied with the work and professionalism. I would recommend them.
Academy Overhead Door is amazing! I called to setup a service call for my garage door, which had stopped working properly. It would not go all the way up/down and was very loud. Due to a last minute cancellation, they were able to send a technician out to my house in 15 minutes! The technician's name was Anthony. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He immediately identified the problems. A bolt had come loose and fell out of the arm on the opener, the spring had bunched up, and he recommended replacing the metal rollers with new neoprene rollers to avoid the metal on metal contact that may cause damage to the track and door overtime. Anthony replaced the bolt, fixed the spring, replaced all of the rollers, and did a complete tune-up including lubricating everything in less than 45 minutes. The price was very reasonable. He even offered me a coupon discount. The garage door now works great and is very quiet. Fast, friendly, knowledgeable, great service!
