From the receptionist to the service techs everyone was extremely pleasant and professional. Our main overhead door at Northside Industries broke a spring leaving it closed and inoperable. This was an emergency at a very busy receiving bay. I called late afternoon, a service rep came out early next morning to evaluate, and the spring was built and installed within 6 hours. Rob kept us up to date on the progress all the while. The service team followed all our plant rules to the letter. They wore all the proper PPE, safety coned off the work area and locked out the electrical. We considered the cost for this type of quality service very reasonable and would not hesitate using them for any future needs. I had an issue with water in the main box a year ago and these guys fixed it very quickly. I also needed my magnet replaced in the locking mechanism. Everyone from the sales team (Fernando), to service dispatch (Glenn) to Jeff who did the work were incredible.Work looks great, and they were very fast!!
We had an actuator fall of one of our exit gates on Sunday and we called to service it on Sunday and it was fixed on Monday. Thank you for the fast service.
We will not use Assa Abloy again. The work they did was satisfactory, but lacking in service.I emailed them 25th April (almost 5 weeks ago) with questions about the invoice. I have to assume that Assa Abloy does not want any repeat business! They don"t respond to emails.From my April 29th email to Michele Wangler.(no response as of May 28th)Some feedback - your invoices really should have more details on. How much labour? Costs of parts? It lacks any details that customers have a right to see.It looks like your technician charged me for two hours? Hard to tell with no details on the invoices.On site for an hour. Had to return to office to get the correct hinge, as he had not brought the correct one, despite me sending pictures the day before.
I called and was greeted with a friendly voice on the other end of the phone. Shane let me know they would be in first thing Monday morning, unless I needed help on the weekend. First thing Monday morning, a clean, well mannered technician was at the door ready to fix my garage door. He was thorough and explained what he was doing and why. Fixed the door and the bill was very close to the estimate that was given (since I knew the spring was broken). I will recommend ASSA to all my friends and family with no hesitation. Excellent!
